It was the weekend, meaning a day of free time for the people in the Sakamaki residence.

"Oi!" The sounds of loud thuds echoed through the second floor as fists clashed.

"So how the hell did you find the tower?!" The albino yelled over the noise. "I just happened to see it!" "Bullshit!" He lunged forward and swung at her while she swiftly dodged and sent him her own hit.

"*huff huff* OK, OK, I'm done..." Said the male.

The past hour the two were sparring to cool Subaru's head and he brought up the tower.

Sh nodded as he walked over to the window sill. Taking a seat, he starred out into the distance, not missing the sound of the door shutting behind him.

"Idol-chaaaaan~~~!!!" A flash of blonde slammed into the wall that was once behind the ravenette before she stepped out of the way, avoiding his pounce. "Waaah!! Mean~~!!!" He rubbed a nonexistent bump on his forehead before grabbing her hands, "Practise with me~!" She smiled, her eye turning a sea green.

The upbeat music flowed from the speaker, the blonde idol moving rhythmically to the bass.

Kagami followed his lead, catching on to the choreography quickly. They stepped to the left and hopped forward, twirled to the left and swayed back.

"Haha~!! Ya still have it~ne~ Idol-chan~?" She gave him a wink before stepping away from both him and the dance, making her own moves to the music. "Challenging an idol to a dance off with his own song~? You hurt me Idol-chan~"

He followed after her, turning the performance into a duet as they slid across the floor.

The music picked up it's pace as it neared the chorus and so did their steps, ever quickening. Until the last beat where the girl fell out of synch, taking an unsteady step back. "Idol-chan~?" He stared at her with large eyes.

"Looks like you win NeKou~" she gave a smile but he didn't buy it.

"Take a break soon, okay~? I gotta make lunch~ See ya~!!!" She sprinted from the room before he could speak.

'I still can't read her...'

The blackette layed on her bed, chest heaving up and down as she panted to catch her breath. The fever she had thought she'd recovered from had come back, worse than before and accompanied with a cold.

She was almost never sick but when she was, it was bad. Bedridden for a couple days, with her hard earned naps littered with garish nightmares as her body finally shuts down to recover from the stress she puts on it.

Of course now that she's with the Sakamaki's and not her caring mentor she would not be able to rest for long. Weakness is what they prey on and what she can no longer allow herself to show.

She couldn't let herself get hurt again.

She stood up to take a bath, attempting to shake off her spinning vision but only making it worse. She inched along the walls, occasionally pushing off of them to regain her balance.

She sat in the bathtub, soaking in the freezing water that soothed her aches.

The water ran slightly red, coming from the red stains on the tip of her hair. She got out, wrapped a towel around herself and drained the water. Her hair clung to her skin as she donned her pyjamas, a large black hoodie and dark red shorts.

Knowing it'd be catastrophic if the brothers were to see the large exposed area of her legs, she fastened the towel by the waist and turned it into a temporary long skirt that covered till her calves.

The water in her damp hair soaked through the back of the jacket as she made her way back into her room.

Tossing her bath supplies aside, she walked into Yui's room, not bothering to knock.

The blonde was in her bed doing homework, not even noticing the appearance of Kagami. She left Yui alone, closing the door gently before returning to her bed and falling onto it, ripping off the towel and crawling under the sheets.

Her body felt cold as her head was on fire, the two parts screaming at each other about the temperature.

She pulled on her red headphones, playing nothing as the slightest sound would have caused a migraine.

"Oi..." A familiar sleazy voice came from the doorway. "Reiji wants you to make dinner." He muttered boredly. Her stomach churned unconsciously at the mention of eating and she got off the bed, pulling on jeans after the boy had left into the hallway. She walked downstairs, greeting Yui with the same shy greeting she herself was greeted with.

Kagami cut the beef fillets and Yui boiled the peas and potatoes. The ravenette seared the slices of beef in a pan and deglazed it with red wine, Yui preparing the herbs.

The dishes were plated by the shorter girl as Kagami mashed the potatoes and doloped a small heap onto every plate.

Yui had prepared a plate for the other girl so Kagami had no choice but to force some food down her gullet as they ate in the dining room, her stomach refusing to properly digest it.

After dinner, Yui insisted to clean up so Kagami thanked her with pink eyes.

Climbing up the stairs, she avoided the sleeping blonde male at the foot of it before stepping on the twelfth step. As soon as her foot hit the glazed wood her body fell limp and her centre of gravity fell backwards, her mind too battered to even comprehend what was happening until she fell into arms covered by the sleeves of a yellow sweater.

A moment was all it took for the girl to pull herself together after being hit with the realization of who she landed on. Pushing herself out of Shu's hold she flew up the stairs and shut herself in her room.

She frustratedly pounded her head, trying to get the pain to go away, of course this wasn't very useful.

"You're not okay..."
