The girl bit back a growl and was about to charge forward when someone pulled her back. She struggled against her captor only for wisps of white hair to appear in her peripheral. She slacked and the arms around her left.

She glanced over her shoulder and saw the boy's she had come to know the past year.

Today was December 31st. By midnight she would've spent a full year at the mansion. Ayato gave a grin as he brandished his longsword. Subaru wrapped his fingers around the blade in his hand and even Shu had a bullwhip he said he 'borrowed' from Reiji.

"Aww, how are you all more prepared than me~?!" Kou grumbles as he lifts a pickaxe that was imbedded into a piece of metal.

The female clentched her teeth but couldn't stop the smile rising to her face and the boys looked shocked.

She sighed and pulled out her knife, giving up on holding her feelings back and she let out a huge grin. "Thanks..." She charged at the masked man only for him to press a button, making Chiba release a growl of pain. She could see the electric currents ripping through his veins as they bulged from his white skin.

Immediately she stopped and ran to his side, catching him before he fell.

The silvernette cackles and Subaru ran at him, snarling, "You bastard!" Ayato followed behind, sword poised before the masked man pressed the button again making Chiba scream again. But what caused them to stop was the heart wrenching sound of an almost angelic voice shrieking and cutting through the air.

The electricity had coursed from Chiba into Kagami causing her to experience the same pain the male was feeling. Kou ran to help Chiba and Kagami as Shu joined the standoff with his half-brothers.

The blonde and Kagami were quick to find the sensors stuck onto Chiba. However, before Kou could pull them off Kagami stopped him. He was about to question her when she pointed at a metal box that all the wires connected to. Cables and reds cylinder tubes made it obvious what it was, a bomb. Chiba groaned and forced out words as coherently as he could. "Heat sensors...take them off and...it goes off... Sensors must stay above 30...degrees..." He winced again as he moved slightly.

The two squinted in thought only for Kagami to do the unthinkable. One by one she removed the sensors and pulled the 3 inch long needles below them out of Chiba's flesh, sticking them into her own. Kou tried to stop her but the threat of the bomb going off made him watch in silent misery.

As the last needle was stuck into her elbow, the metallic smell of blood came from the weak brunette as he slumped backwards, tears in his eyes.

The girl slowly stood up only for a current stronger than the one she felt before to race through her. She bit her tongue, drawing blood as she fell to a knee to prevent screaming.

Kou looked sorrowfully at the girl and ran towards the Sakamaki's trying to get the remote away from the silverheaded male.

The female glanced at the males and walked towards them. The coiled up wires giving her about 20 meters of mobility.

She snuck up behind the distracted silverheaded male and pushed her blade into his back as he gasped in pain. He sank to the ground as she stepped back only for another bolt of volts to shoot through her, this tine not showing any signs of stopping.

Ayato had enough and stabbed the silverheaded male's back, digging through his spine and cutting through his stomach. The boy groaned but didn't stop. After a solid three minutes of biting her tongue, Kagami couldn't take it anymore. She let out screams of pain that shrivel and painfully twisted the hearts the brothers never knew they had.

Subaru was the next to follow Ayato, slashing violently at the boy's hunches over form, only making him laugh as Kagami felt her blood burn, screaming even louder. The Sakamaki's just attacked relentlessly, trying to pry the remote from the males clutches but to no avail.

Kou clentched his fists.

He allowed Kagami's gasps of pain to fill his head, the cracking fieling him more. Slowly he lifted the pickaxe in his hand and brought it down upon the male who had tortured him and Kagami relentlessly as mere children.

The cackling silenced. The pungenr odor of blood filled the room. The man's frame collapsed onto the floor, causing the remnants of his scalp to separate from the lower half of his skull. A mixture of his brains and blood spilled out from his cranium like a spilt bowl of punch.

Kagami had fallen silent as the lifeless male's finger had slipped off the button on the remote.

Subaru ended the possibility of pain with a stomp, breaking the control into shrapnel, causing the bomb to switch off.

The boys hurried to the girl and despite wanting to appear aloof, the Sakamaki's couldn't stop themselves from worrying and fussing over the girl. Her head rested in Subaru's lap as Ayato and Kou hurriedly removed the sensors that were stuck in her skin. She groaned, only to erupt into a coughing fit, blood spitting from her mouth with each violent spasm. Shu wiped away the blood with his sleeve and covered her shredded clothes with his sweater.

They quickly left the horrid room along with Chiba. The corpse staring blankly.
