She followed the loud thumping down the winding hallways as though pulled by an unseen force, soon reaching a room with a wall length window overlooking the side if the house.
Large maroon curtains draped down the sides and a bench lay just under the window sill.
There was seated the albino of the group. His head leaning against the glass and the light of his reflection in it danced off his ruby red eyes. A strong fell of nostalgia radiated around the male as he looked off into the distance at a white stone tower.
It stood a few hundred meters from the house. It was almost as tall the the floor they were on and was just barely visible through the fog, the path to it lined by white rose bushes.
The female soon left the room silently, leaving the solemn male behind as she made her way back to her room.
Kou was still in her bed but he seemed more restless than before, tossing and turning, groaning a little.
She layed back down and twirled a piece of his hair, him calming down almost immediately.
He curled up into a ball like an abandoned kitten, whimpering a bit before falling back into a restful slumber. Kagami shut her eyes too and eventually managed to catch a small wink of sleep.

The next day was a weekend, aka no school day. The brothers were left to their own devices, the triplets opting to pester Yui instead.
Kagami was wandering the halls, which was odd for her to do. Usually she would be training or studying some college work. She turned each corner and walked down each hall, eventually reaching the room she saw Subaru in last night except the large curtains were pulled shut.
She tred closer, peeking through the small gap. She managed to see the tower in more detail. It was made of a white stone and covered in rose vines, a single barred window at the highest point.
She turned back into the main hall and walked down the steps, making her way outside.
Following the direction of the window, she faced straight in front, finding the feint silhouette of the tower.
She walked down the path, eventually finding the rose bush lined white bridge.
As she got closer to the stone building, it grew taller and taller, reaching to the clouds. She circled it, finding a small archway to the spiral staircase embedded into the inner walls.
Her boots crunched against the small pieces of crumbling staircase. Remnants of wilted rose petals littered each step and dust coated each surface.
Reaching the top, Kagami was met with a old wooden door, the type with a loop for a handle. She pulled it open, the friction of the water logged, rotting wood and mouldy, crumbling stone caused a cloud of dust to blow in her face.
She coughed the toxic plaster powder out of her lungs and waved the cloud away, revealing a room.
If it wasn't fictional enough before, it sure was now. The whole room seemed to be pulled out of a fairy tale.
Cobwebs hung off each corner of the room and glistened in the setting sun, a single bed fitted with silk sheets was tucked in one corner. Just beside it was the barred window, starting from her waist and reaching roughly two inches from the ceiling.
The ravenette stepped towards the rusting bars, as though in a trance.
She gripped one with both hands and looked out in sorrow.
"Oi! What the hell are you doing here?!"
She turned around and faced the ruby eyed male, brushing invisible dust off an air skirt. Clasping her hands together by her lap her eyes softened.
She gave him a warm motherly smile, one he could only hope to dream of. One he wished his mother had given him all those years ago.
As he stared into her eyes her wondered why only to realised that her eyes had turned into the same shade of shimmering crimson his mother's were.
As he approached her desperately and imaged flashed before her eyes, Subaru's past filled her brain and before the male could even touch her, every detail about his troubled childhood had etched itself into her mind.
When he grabbed her by the arm the red dissipated, replaced by the same hazy white she always faced him with. Her smile vanished. And the last thing the male saw was water welling up in the corners of her eyes before she seemingly gazed through him and ran down the
flight of stairs.
