Jonny Frost pulled up to the pavement in a black SUV. The windows were limo style so no curious civilians could scare themselves if they saw who was occupying the vehicle. Harley stood back as the henchman jumped out, assisting with getting the Joker into the car. He was beginning to bruise around his foot and clothes were sticking to his burnt flesh. He was not in a good mood at all.

Just as Frost was done helping him into the back he turned to Harley with wide eyes. He looked down to see the baby, tightly held in her arms. She smiled sweetly up at him while he held a confused expression.

"Hurry up." J groaned from inside, impatience evident in his voice.

Frost snapped back to reality and walked around to the drivers side while Harley jumped into the back.

The black suited man adjusted the mirrors and pulled out, checking behind so no cops were pursuing.

"Will I go to the hospital?" Frost asked the two as he stared worriedly at their injuries, especially the Jokers, who looked like he was in pain.

"No." J retorted. "We'll be sent straight to Arkham as soon as we set foot in there." He muttered beginning to peel away at his shirt, grinding his teeth.

"So will I call in the Doc?" He asked looking on the rear view mirror to see the green haired mad man gazing outside the window.

"Yeah, thanks Frosty. We really appreciate it." Harley spoke softly rocking the baby delicately in her arms.

"Well it is what we pay him for." Grumbled the Joker miserably.

"Well sometimes it's nice to get a bit of appreciation." She snapped back losing her soft attitude as his was beginning to get annoying.

"Oh I'm sorry. Do you want me to thank you for almost getting me killed?" He rolled his orbs.

"I could have died too." She whispered.

"Well that would have made my life so much easier." He barked silencing the whole car.

Harley sat still, her eyes began to water as she felt her heart stop. "You don't mean that." She said barely audible.

"Whatever you say Harley." He huffed looking away from her.

She sat back in her seat, leaning her head against the rest. Tears began to fall silently from her eyes. Frost sat awkwardly in the front, not daring to make eye contact with either of them.

The journey was short but felt like a lifetime for every passenger. The sound of heavy breathing and hisses of pain were the only things keeping them from going insane over the silence.

They entered the club, the Joker hanging lazily on Frosts shoulder while Harley managed the baby. It had fallen asleep in the car with Harley's gentle rocking.

"Doctor Fanning will be here soon." Frost informed sitting down in one of the booths with J.

He just responded with a grunt watching Harley disappear up the stairs with the child. He couldn't help but feel guilty for his words. He didn't mean it, but she knew he had a temper so he couldn't understand why she got so upset. She was lucky he even let her save the baby after all. He should have just left it in the building. It would have stopped all this nonsense.

Suddenly there was a knock on the club doors. A middle aged confident woman entered, strutting up to the men wearing a tight white coat and black pencil skirt. She had jet black hair with light blue eyes.

"Another injury I assume?" She sighed carrying her briefcase over full of different medical supplies.

"How did you know?" Joker asked with a roll of his optics, leaning his head in his hands.

"Where's Harley?" She questioned ignoring his sarcasm.

"That's none of your business Doctor." J growled carefully lifting his injured leg onto the long leather seat.

Frost sat on the other side of the booth watching the two interact.

"I just want to know where my other patient is." She snapped back, not afraid of his power and reputation.

"She'll be down in a minute so just relax." He answered noticing how snappy she was becoming.

"What the hell happened to you?" She asked sitting beside him taking out some cream and bandages. Examining his injuries while he lay completely relaxed.

"I didn't listen when my mother told me not to play with fire." He giggled grabbing a bottle of whiskey from the coffee table.

"Of course." She sighed peeling off the last of his top cautiously. She then noticed his oddly shaped ankle hanging off the couch. "What happened here?" She said looking at him gesturing to the twisted shape.

"I fell," He shrugged taking a gulp of the burning alcohol. "It'll be fine. Just a little sprain."

"Doesn't look like it to me." She stated sitting closer. His pale skin was beginning to turn blue and purple. And there was an unusual bump. "I think you dislocated it."

At that moment Harley came skipping down the steps from their master bedroom. "Hey Doc." She greeted sitting beside Frost.

"Where were you?" The doctor asked looking over at her.

"Just putting the baby to sleep." Harley replied simply with a sweet smile.

"Baby?" She gasped with wide shocked eyes. She couldn't believe for one second that these two could create anything other than chaos.

"Don't worry, we just found it." Harley laughed at her expression of surprise.

"What do you mean found it?" She questioned again.

"In a burning orphanage, hence the injuries." Harley said raising her hand at the Jokers burns.

"Oh." The doctor whispered looking back down at the patient who was downing the bottle of whiskey. At least it couldn't make the procedure worse but he shouldn't be completely drunk. So before he could get another sip she snatched it off him narrowing her eyes. "That's enough. I can't have you drunk while I'm trying to help." She retorted, taking a quick sip herself.

He grumbled inaudible words under his breath glaring at her.

"Ok I'm going to have to pop the bones back in place." She informed watching Harley cringe in discomfort.

The platinum blonde looked away with shut eyes. "I can't watch."

"Oh don't be such a baby, Harls." Suddenly the doctor twisted his ankle with swift movements and the entire building was filled with his curses.

"All done!" The lab coated woman smiled wiping her hands off each other. "So put this cream on all the burns everyday and make sure to rest and not use your foot too much. It will still be painful."

"Thanks Doc!" Harley hugged her tightly while she began to pack away some items into her briefcase.

"No problem." She smiled picking up the case and making her way to the double doors she came through. "Call me in a week." And with that she waved goodbye before shutting the door.

"You okay boss?" Frost asked after watching the whole scene. It did look painful and an uncomfortable crack echoed through the large room when it popped back into place.

"Never better." He smiled sarcastically sitting up glancing down at the doctors job. His ankle did look better and the blue and purple on his skin looked to be fading slightly.

"How's the baby?" Frost asked turning to Harley seeing as the Joker wasn't going to mention it.

"Lucy's fine." The corner of Harley's lips curled into a smile as she mentioned her name.

"Lucy?"
