Chapter 14: My Weird Best Friend

**Liam's POV**

I bent down picked up the pillow and threw it back. She gasped as she wasn’t expecting me to fight back, she sat up wide eyed and stared at me. I smirked at her as we both said “game on”.

I quickly reached for the pillow on the ground, I grabbed it just before Cat could reach it, I pushed her onto the bed and repeatedly hit her with my pillow while she was giggling the whole time, and I couldn’t help but laugh at her. She looked like a retarded seal, but I love seals so… She took the chance while I was too busy laughing to reach behind her head and grab another pillow while I was still distracted thinking about seal she managed to hit me across the head with the pillow, sending me down onto the ground. This cause a fit of giggles to erupt from her again, I took this as my opportunity I grabbed her around her waist flung her over my shoulder and ran down the stairs now having her screaming and kicking in between some soft laughter. Still running I ran out the back door and put her down on the ground, I knew she would take this as her chance to bolt so I grabbed her hands. "Where do you think you’re going?” I asked looking down at her, she looked around probably looking for an escape. “Back inside and where I can beat you with a pillow” she exclaimed with an innocent smile on her face, “oh really now?”

“Yes really” she looked so determined, I looked around and instantly knew what was going to happen. I looked down at her and smirked at her innocent face. She looked up and confusion crossed her face, she looked around and her face lit up with recognition as she spotted my destination. “Don’t. You .Dare” she said glaring at me, I smirked at her leaned in towards her ear and whispered “too late” I picked her up and ran towards the pool. I chucked her in and laughed my head off as I watched her as she submerged under the water, getting splashed as I was right on the edge. “Real mature” she popped out of the water and pushed her hair back from her face, “now help me out” I reached down stifling a laugh as I pulled her up but before I had her up all the way I dropped her hand and she fell back into the water with another loud splash. I started laughing again this time not being able to control it, all of a sudden she reached up grabbed my leg and pulled me into the ice cold water, I was too busy laughing to notice what she was doing, so by the time I did it was too late.

“Loser” she started to dance around in the water, the way the moon danced off her skin and the water droplets rolled off of her soft skin, she was gorgeous and she didn’t even have to try. She caught me staring at her and looked down blushing, I swam over to her and pulled her into a tight hug. “What was that for?” she was just too cute for her own good,

“Just felt like it”, I mumbled looking away hoping to hide my blush.

“Aww” the next thing she did took me by surprise and I could tell it also took her by surprise as well. She grabbed my face and smashed her lips against mine, once the shock wore off I kissed her back with so much passion. This kiss was filled with emotion and all the unspoken words between us. We pulled away for breath, my lips still tingling from the sparks that erupted when we kissed. I reached up and touched my lips, I noticed Cat do the same so she felt it too. I couldn’t help but smile at her “I love you Cat” I said looking straight into her beautiful eyes, her eyes where so mesmerising the moonlight made them look almost purple as it reflected off the water. “I love you too Liam” we both leaned in at the same time, I met her half way just as we closed our eyes. We stood there in the water that was now warm, the warm water up to her shoulders but only up to my lower chest. I picked her up from her this and her legs instantly wrapped around my back without braking our kiss.

*cough cough* we tore apart from each other and looked up to see Louis looking over the small fence with a smirk on his face, “having fun” he just had to ruin he moment
