November 23rd.
"She wants to talk to both of us?" I asked.
"Yeah." Monica nodded. "She wants to meet her other niece." She smiled.
Aunt Marie had called Monica the other day. She wanted to tell us both something important.
"Alright. When do we leave?" I asked.
"Now." Monica said.
So we drove to Ozrock. It was a five and a half hour drive to her house. Monica drove us there. I didn't know she knew how to drive since we all never learned. Lacey didn't like me going without security, but then I reminded her that I was an awesomely powerful witch now. She felt a little better.
We approached the small house. It definitely looked like it belonged to an old lady. It had a brown exterior and lots of flowers. The garden was tended well. The curtains in the windows had pink and purple swirls. They were very 80s. The front door was blue. I knocked and waited for her to come to the door.
Inside of Marie answers the door, it just flew open. I looked at Monica. She shrugged her shoulders and walked in. I followers her through the house.
"Aunt Marie." Monica called out. "It's Diane's daughters."
I looked around at the empty house. There was some furnisher and the painting on the walls. There were a few pillows on the couches and some house plants. It looked like a model house that hadn't been lived in yet.
"I thought you said she had cats?" I asked in a whispering tone.
"I did." A woman's voice came form behind me.
I jumped and turned around. At first glance she looked exactly like my mom. I then got a better look and saw the differences. Her eyes were different and her cheek. The nose and mouth were almost exactly the same. Her hair was similar too, but cut much shorter than my mother ever cut her's. She was obviously younger and she seemed cheerier.
"Don't worry, I didn't kill all my cats for a spell or anything crazy. I gave them away to loving families." She smiled and then headed back the way she came.
We followed her into her bedroom. She was laying comfortably in her bed when we got there.
"Marie, this is my younger sister, Claire." I smiled at my aunt.
"Yes, Claire. I've seen a lot about you in the news. Handsome fella you got yourself there." She smirked.
"Yes. Ashton is great."
"And you love him?" She asked.
"Yes, yes I do." I replied.
"Good. Remember that love is important. A person hasn't lived unless they have fallen in love." She said and then coughed.
Monica seemed concerned by this cough. "Are you okay?" She asked.
"Oh, I'm fine...well I'm going to die, but that's why I wanted you two to come."
"Going to die?!" Monica kneeled down and put her head so she could come closer to Marie.
"How?" I asked.
"I'm old girls." She replied.
"Aunt Marie...you're not that old. You are barely 50." I argued.
"Yes, but I have one of those cancers...what was it called again...?" She searched her thoughts and then stuck out her finger. "Yes, it's a stomach cancer." She said then looked over our sad expression. "It's fine though. I'm not afraid to die, but I am afraid to die without telling you two something very important. There is a sort of mission that you need you to complete for me. Can you do that?" She asked.
"Sure, what is it?" Monica responded before I could.
"You see, I fell in love when I was 25. We were the same age, Jack and I, and when I say same age I mean he was literally born four days before me." She started to explain.
"But you were never married." Monica pointed out.
"Yes, well, let me finish my story." She smirked. "Jack and I fell quickly and madly in love with each other. He was my everything. Jack was a witch too. His mother was one and he didn't have any siblings. Anyways, Jack died a year after we knew each other. We were crossing the street together and a car came barreling through. He pushed me out of the way and got hit. I cradled him as he bled out on the street. I wanted to save him with my magic, but he refused. He didn't want to risk the exposure. So he died and sometimes I think I died with him. Until I got a surprise four weeks later. I realized I was pregnant." She paused to take a few breaths.
Monica took this moment to glance at me; we were both thinking the same thing, 'where is this story going? What happened to her baby.'
Marie started to choke up slightly. "I gave birth to a healthy baby boy...Jack Jr. He went by JJ. He was different than me and than Jack. He was more serious and career driven. He didn't have any imagination, but he was a good boy. After he graduated from college he moved away. He moved to New York City...and well I haven't spoken to him since." She observed our shock.
I have a cousin!
"It gets worse..." She frowned. "I haven't told him he's a witch. I he were to have a girl baby in the future then that little girl dissected to know what the hell is happening to her."
"You say this as if you know something..." Monica raise an eyebrow.
She shrugged. "I may have peaked at his future a few years ago. I saw him get married when he was 25 and have a baby girl when he is 27. He just turned 25 a week ago." She explained. "So he must be engaged."
"Okay..." I said. "So what do you want us to do?" I asked.
"I want you to find my Jack and explain this all to him. It will be difficult, but he is your family."
"Of course we will do this for you, Aunt Marie." Monica patted her hand.
I furrowed my brow. "May I speak to you out in the hall, please." My nostrils flared.
Monica followed me into the hall.
"Monica, I can't do this for her. I've got enough stuff going on right now. Plus we don't really know her." I argued on a quiet tone.
"I know her." Monica stated. "She's family. He is family." She looked at me and sighed. "Fine, I can do it without your help. The only problem with that is I don't look like me anymore and I'm meant to be dead."
I sighed. "Then turn yourself into you and explain that you survived using magic." I got an idea. "Oh, take Jasmine with you and have her glamor to look like me."
"Okay." Monica opened the door to go back into the bedroom, but her 'okay' didn't really seem genuine.
We peered into the room and Marie had her eyes closed.
"Aunt Marie." Monica walked over to her and she didn't respond. "Aunt Marie?"
Monica shook her hand and then glanced up at me with confusion and panic.
"Marie?!" She shook her more.
Monica furious moved her thumb onto Marie's wrist to feel for a pulse and moved her other hand to her nose to feel for breath.
"She's not breathing and she doesn't have a pulse."
"What do we do?" I asked.
Monica stood up and it looked like she was going to cry. "We...call 111!" She pulled out her phone and dialed the emergency number.
I listened to Monica's side of the conversation. "Hi, I'm with my aunt and she stopped breathing and doesn't have a pulse." Monica was a little calmer than before, but our hearts were both still racing. "No, she told me she had stomach cancer and felt like she was going to die....yes, I do....okay....we are at 2573 Boulder Dr. Ozrock, Udonia."
When she said we, I realized that I shouldn't probably be here when the police and ambulance come. It will drawn way too much attention and questions. We couldn't have that.
Monica was listening to the person on the phone. "What should I do? I can't be seen here." I whispered.
She nodded. She knew what I meant. I watched Monica move a hand up in front of her body. She quickly turned it into a fist and her body disappeared. She became visible again by releasing the fist. I knew what she meant.
"Okay." I said and left the room.
Monica began giving CPR to our aunt. I wandered off into the next bedroom.
It must have been Jack's because there were various things from his childhood spread about. He probably took all his things from high school with him because most of these things were toys. There were stuffed animals, action figures, and a poster of Super Mario on the wall. The walls were blue and the bed was made up. The room was like a shrine to him...but tot he younger him. I picked up a figure of Mario. It was scuffed and the paint was chipped. I put it in my purse.
Monica can use this for a locator spell. I thought.
I heard sirens and cloaked myself. I waited. A man came into the room I was in with a camera. I stood as still as possible. The slightest movement could look strange in the image. He was probably taking pictures of the entire house for the records. I tried to listen to the conversation down the hall, but couldn't hear much. I waited until they all left before I went into Marie's bedroom. Her body was gone.
"What did they say?" I asked Monica.
She wiped her tear from her eye. "They said that she died of natural causes and that her house looked too neat for her to have stomach cancer. I said I didn't know anything except what I told them. Marie was a powerful witch. She changed her identity when she left mom. When they pulled up her name it was Elizabeth Marie Yaw."
"Well that's not much different than her other name." I pointed out.
Monica shrugged. "Let's go." She said and headed for the exit.
I followed her out. "I took this." I pulled the Mario figure out of my bag.
She glanced at it and raised an eyebrow. "Why?" She asked.
"For a locator spell on Jack." I handed it to her.
"Smart. You were taught well."
"Well, Jasmine taught me." I smiled.
Monica smiled and opened her car door.
We drove back to the castle. We stopped for McDonalds along the way. That was the first time I had McDonalds ever. It was good. Felt very fattening, but sometimes you need that.
"When will we get back?" I asked Monica as she drove.
She yawned. "In like a half hour now. Why?"
"Well, Ashton spent the day in Hikaru and texted me saying that he is home." I smirked and looked at her. "I kinda promised him like a month ago that I would surprise him with a very pleasurable evening."
Monica glared at me. "So our aunt just died and you want to get back to your man to have sex?"
My face fell.
She smiled. "It's fine Claire."
I made a fake angry face. "Don't do that to me. I hate feeling guilty."
"Whatever." She yawned again.
"Do you want me to drive?" I suggested.
"You can't drive." She argued.
"Oh yeah." I laughed. "Then I need to keep you awake." I pulled out my phone to play some music.
Monica glanced at me as the music started to come out of my phone and I was dancing in my chair. "Britney Spears?" She asked with a smirked.
"Oh baby baby!" I started to sing with the song.

When I got home I rushed to our bedroom. Lacey had texted me saying that Ashton was about to finish dinner. I quickly put on some lingerie that I had bought the other day and hid in the bathroom until his return.
I heard the door open to the room. I couldn't tell what Ashton was doing, but I remembered that I left my clothes on the floor, so I walked out of the bathroom.
Ashton looked at the door when I opened it. He was leaned over on the foot of the bed taking his shoes off. His eyes trailed up me legs to the thin fabric covering my lower region. Then they moved up my stomach that was bare and then up to the small fabric covering the top of my chest. His eyes met mine.
"Ash." I said as possible.
"Claire." He quickly kicked off his shoes as I approached. "Have I told you I love you?"
I smirked. "I believe it's come up."
I straddled his lap and put my legs behind his body on the bed.
His started his assault on my neck. His tongue grazed my skin and since goosebumps across my back. His hands were suddenly there to bring heat and comfort.
"By the way." I whispered. "These are crouchless panties."
His head came up and his lips began to suck at mine as he worked on removing my bra from behind.
