IT HAD BEEN A WEEK SINCE THE ARRIVAL of Selina, and everything was going okay. It was like the girl was family like they've known her forever. The brunette had been staying in the Cullen's guest room, along with Jacob. Of course, they only had one bed, and the two shared but the way they woke up every morning was funny.
Sometimes Selina would have her legs onto of Jacob's legs and her arm on his face, and sometimes Jacob would have his legs on her stomach, knees bent and facing the side.
Those two were best friends, and it wasn't unusual to find the two fighting or doing anything out of the ordinary. Selina was usually happy and hyper but today was a different day. Today Selina didn't get out of bed and even though she's lazy sometimes, she's always sleeping on the couch if she's being lazy.
"Selina, Is something wrong?" Esme asked the girl she thought of as her daughter. She hadn't gotten out of bed, and everyone was worried. "Everyone's worried."
"Ughh." Selina made a sound of tiredness and turned over in bed, her face sinking into the pillow. Esme went over and sat on the edge of the bed.
"What's wrong, sweetheart?" She asked as Selina placed a head on her lap. The older brunette ran her hands through the younger yet unusual vampire girl.
"I'm tired." She mumbled and relaxed as she enjoyed the feeling of someone playing with her hair.
"Do you want me to call Jacob?" Selina nodded, and Esme lifted her head, placing it on her pillow before exiting the room to call the shapeshifter, who was visiting the other shape-shifters today. As Esme left the room, two others entered and came and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Selina?" Bella called, and Selina turned her head to look at the couple over her shoulder.
"Hmm." The brunette vampire turned over so she could place her head on Bella's lap and allow her to play in her hair, which she did.
"I can't read your thoughts," Edward stated as he only heard silence except for the occasional 'I'm tired' thoughts. Selina nodded and sighed as she relaxed her body, thanks to Bella.
"Sleep." Bella's soft voice rang through Selina's ear as sleep began to fill her mind. She closed her eyes and black dots formed until she finally fell limp, fast asleep.
"She's a true beauty," Edward stated as he and his wife stared at the sleeping girl with love shining in their eyes.
