Something that all OCs must have are, names.

The thing is, some people name their OCs according to their favourite fandom. An example is the Percy Jackson fandom (which I'm part of but I don't make OCs and Fanfics on it). An example is Coral Indigo Sea Jackson.

I understand that you want to make your OC stand out. But naming them ridiculous names is not going to make them stand out. At least in my opinion.

Of course, the names depend on the genre (like Fantasy), but you don't have to exaggerate.

People in fanfics should have normal names. As well in Teen Fiction. Or horror.

I really can't believe someone would actually name their OC Candy Meme Queen....... Candy... Meme... Queen...

All we need now is rainbow hair and rainbow eyes!

Ok so, conclusion: Don't make your OCs have such weird names. I honestly don't care if you're naming them after you draw them or something, but if it's for a story then I would re-name them if I were you.
