*Karley's POV*

I got home at around 7:15 after leaving Michaela's house. I was really sad about leaving and saying goodbye to Michaela will be the hardest part.

"I'm home mom!" I called as I walked into the house. "Hi Karley, did you finishing packing yet? We've got to leave early tomorrow morning," my mother told me.

I sighed at the fact that this wasn't a horrible dream. "I'm almost done packing mom. I'll be done in ten minutes." I said with irritation clear in the tone of my voice. "That's good! Well, when your done, come down and eat dinner, then get to bed," my mother told me as I walked up the stairs to my room. I opened my door and went to my bed. "I really don't want to leave." I thought to myself.

I got up and went over to my closet. I packed up the miscellaneous things left in my room, and got all my luggage stacked up in one pile. I'm going to miss California, and I'll probably hate England. I pulled out my phone and sent Michaela a text.

*hey, r u okay?*

Michaela responded quickly, and I could tell she was not fine. *

of course I'm fine.*

I decided to call her, and see what was up, although I knew exactly what it was. She picked up on the third ring.

"Hello?", Michaela answered. "Hi, I was wondering if you wanted to come eat dinner with my mom and I?" I asked her. "Sure! I'll be over in ten." "Okay, see you then! Bye!, I said as I hung up.

*Michaela's POV*

I arrived at Karley's and knocked on the door. Through the glass, I saw Karley's long blonde hair come into view. God, I'm going to miss her. I put on a fake smile as she opened the door and hugged me. I stepped in and removed my sneakers, and I saw Karley's mom. "Hi, Mrs. Raymond.", I said as I walked up to give her a hug.

"Please, call me Margret.", Karley's mom said with a smile. I nodded in response and heard Karley say "Mom, call us down when dinners ready!", and we walked up the stairs.

We walked into her room and I plopped down on her floor, as Karley walked over to turn some music on. Karley walked over to me and sat down next to me. We talked about all of our memories and how much we were going to miss each other, but we were stopped before we could cry by Margret calling us down for dinner.

I followed Karley down the stairs to the dining room, and we immediately smelled her mothers famous spaghetti. We ate talked, and laughed a lot. Surprisingly, no one cried, at least not yet. Karley and I helped clear the table off, and told her mom we would do the dishes so she could get some sleep. We finished in no time, and decided to watch some tv. It was getting late and I said

"I should be going. Tomorrow's a big day." Karley nodded and stood up to walk me out. We hugged before I turned and headed home.
