Forgotten

Chapter Twenty

*Karley's POV*

After Michaela told us the great news, we packed up and drove back to campus. Michaela lives with Eleanor and I.

It's Monday, the first day back to classes since break. I'm so excited Michaela will be there, but since I told her about Michelle and Zayn, I'm a little nervous to go back. Zayn's a real jerk, and Michelle's a bitch! Oh well, we will see how it goes.

This morning I got in the shower right when I woke up. Michaela's in there now, and Eleanor is already with Louis. Now, I'm trying to decide what to wear. I decide on dark blue skinny jeans, my Rolling-Stones t-shirt, my black converse, and a grey hoodie. Once I finish getting dressed, Michaela is out of the bathroom. She's wearing dark blue skinny jeans, a black t-shirt, a grey hoodie, and sneakers. Her hair is straightened and she's wearing mascara and eyeliner. I get up to go to the bathroom and Michaela says "Hurry up blondie!" I roll my eyes and walk into the bathroom. I straighten my hair and brush my teeth. I apply my foundation, mascara, and eyeliner. When I'm satisfied, I walk out, grab my bag, and follow Michaela out the door.

On the way to the our first period class, Michaela and I talk about Michelle and Zayn. Apparently, Michaela likes Zayn better than Harry, and if Michelle try's to do anything to her, Michaela won't be so nice. I just listen to her talk, and finally we arrive at our first class, science. I've already told Michaela that Louis and Danielle are the only ones in our group that are in this class. Luckily, the two empty seats are next to Louis and Danielle. I take the one by Danielle and Michaela takes the one by Louis. The class goes by really slow, and Danielle and I talk the whole time. While gathering my things, I say a small goodbye to Danielle before walking over to Louis and Michaela. They smile when they see me and I ask Michaela "How was your first class?" She laughs and rolls her eyes while saying "It was great, but I couldn't focus.", while smacking Louis's arm playfully. Louis pretends to be hurt, and Michaela and I give him a kiss on each cheek. He smiles and links one arm with each of us.

Louis walks us to our next class, which is math, but he's not in this class. We share this class with Eleanor and Liam. Eleanor saved me a seat and Liam saved Michaela a seat. Liam and Michaela share a kiss and, since were behind them, Eleanor and I gave whistling noises. They both roll their eyes and then turn around. Surprisingly, math goes by fast and before we know it, Michaela and I are walking to study hall. Luckily, Harry is in this class. When I walk through the door, Harry stands up and comes over to me. We steal a quick kiss before the teacher comes in, but Harry has other ideas. He tries to deepen the kiss, but I push him away while laughing. He pouts and asks "Why can't we kiss?" I roll my eyes and say "Because were in class!" He scoffs and says "Tell them that." I look over at Liam and Michaela who are practically on top of each other in one chair, sucking each other's faces off. I roll my eyes at them and pull Harry to a different table. The period is spent playing stupid games and seeing how long Michaela and Liam can hold their breath. Throughout the class, I feel Harry get closer, but I don't mind. He's driving me crazy though. He keeps running his fingers over his perfect lips, and I just want to wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him.

By now, Harry is only a few inches away from my face. He winks and asks "Still want to just sit there?" I shake my head no and pull him to me. Harry's perfect pink lips work perfectly in sync with mine, and soon he's swiping his tongue over my bottom lip. I let his tongue explore my mouth, and I try to win over his, but it's no use. We go back to just kissing and I hear whistles. I pull away and see Liam and Michaela have finally stopped and our whistling at us. I roll my eyes and hide in Harry's shoulder. Michaela throws her hands in the air and says "You two went for 5 minutes straight." I roll my eyes, and let go of Harry when the bell rings. I gather my stuff, and grab Harry's hand when were in the hallway.

Liam grabs Michaela's hand and were walking in a line across the hallway so it's Harry, me, then a space and Michaela and Liam. Michaela turns to me and says "If that bitch tries anything, shits going down." I nod, knowing she'll do anything even if I say no. We arrive at the cafeteria, and I sit down on the bench. Harry sits on my right and Michaela is on my left. Liam is next to Michaela, and across from us is Louis, across from Liam, Eleanor across from Michaela, Zayn across from me, and Michelle across from Harry. I try to ignore Michelle and Zayn, but I'm not that lucky. Zayn says "Hey Karley.", while flashing me a big smile. I pull out a fake smile, and say "Hey Zayn." He chuckles and asks "How do you like it here so far?" I look up at him and say "I love it here!" He nods and turns back to Michelle. I join Louis's, Liam's, Michaela's, and Eleanor's conversion, but tune out to hear Zayn get up to go to the bathroom.

I'm pretty sure Michelle thinks I can't hear her, because she says to Harry "Why are you with her?" Harry laughs and says "Because she's amazing." Michelle scoffs and says "Really? Come on, you can do better. You have before." What? Has before?! I ignore my thoughts in time to hear Harry say "Listen. We dated before, but were over. I really like Karley, and your not going to ruin that." I mentally smile, but I can't help to think that he didn't tell me they dated. I want to be alone, so I abruptly stand up and walk out. I hear Michaela and Harry calling my name, and I hear Michaela say "I got it." I stop in the hallway, knowing she'll be coming.

"Karley? What happened?", Michaela asks as soon as she's out there.

*Michaela's POV*

I'm having a great time listening to Louis and Eleanor, and last time I checked, so was Karley. Apparently I was wrong. For some reason, Karley abruptly stands up and walks out. Harry and I yell her name, but she doesn't stop. Harry attempts to get up, but I say "I got it." I get to the hallway and see Karley. "What happened?", I ask as soon as I see her. Karley looks up at me and tells me what happened.

"I was listening to Lou and Eleanor talk, but I heard Michelle talking to Harry. Apparently, they've dated before and she asked why he was with me. He said it was because I'm amazing and he loves me, but what I'm mad about is that he didn't even bother to tell me that the girl who ruined my first day is his ex girlfriend.", Karley says in a low voice. I clench my fists and grit my teeth.

"That bitch.", is all I say.
