Jamie's P.O.V
We've always cuddled on the couch together but it feels slightly awkward now if I'm honest.
After that well needed chat with Mum I now realise I do have true feelings Tiffany. She has everything a man could ask for. I've got so much to look forward to now, this is the start of something new and I finally have a future in sight with Tiffany and her baby.
"Tiff?" I whispered.
"Yeah," she smiled looking up at me.
"There's no rush you know. we don't have to be in a relationship right now, we can lead into it."
"Oh, yeah okay."
"Or not?"
"I don't mind. It's up to you."
"Listen, I change from now. It isn't so I can have one last boozy weekend."
"Sorry," she sighed.
"Do you trust me?" I asked.
"Yeah, I will do."
"What do you mean you will do?" I frowned.
"I still have to get used to this."
"I'm giving up a lot for you."
"Don't throw that at me, it's your choice."
"I'm not throwing it at you, I'm trying to convince you how serious I am."
"I'm pregnant and I'm worried. It will take time and actions to convince me you're serious."
"Okay, I understand that."
"Thank you," she said.
I leant down and kissed her again.
"Ouch!" she gasped clutching her stomach.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
"He's moving around again that's all."
"Is that normal?"
"Yeah, feel here," she smiled.
Normal P.O.V
I ended up staying at Jamie's for the night and like every other I woke up in the early hours.
"Jamie, I need to pee," I moaned trying to loosen his grip around me.
"Hmm," he mumbled turning over onto his back.
I climbed out of bed and wandered into the bathroom in one of Jamie's tops. If I was at home I'd head downstairs for a mug of hot chocolate because I know the chances of me getting back to sleep, but with Jamie in the bedroom next door I stayed with him.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah," I replied laying back in bed and using his chest as a pillow.
He fell straight back to sleep but I continued to lay wide awake drawing circles on his chest. It's becoming a regular thing now and these sleepless nights are driving me insane.
"You're awake early," Jamie yawned.
"I always am," I replied.
"How long have you been awake?"
"I don't know, I didn't check the time."
"Why don't you get something to help you sleep?" he sighed.
"I don't like the idea of taking sleeping pills."
"These sleepless nights aren't good for either of you, you will need your strength for the birth."
"I know," I mumbled.
"Talk to the midwife, there might be other options. If not I can take you to the doctors?"
"I'll speak to the midwife."
He just smiled back at me.
"What are you doing today?" I asked.
"I was thinking about cooking us both breakfast."
"That sounds nice. I'll be down in a minute."
"Alright babes," he replied heading downstairs.
I checked my flashing phone on the bedside table. I had a feeling Amy would text me.
Amy - Are you okay? Xx
Me - I'm fine thank you. Everything is good. Xx
Amy - That sounds promising ;-) Xx
Me - I stayed at his last night but don't go jumping to conclusions! Xx
Amy - Ooo..!! Xx
Me - It's very early days! Xx
Amy - It will take time babe. Come and see me soon for a proper catch up :) Xx
Me - Thanks hun :) Xx
"What are you smiling at?" Jamie asked appearing at the bedroom door.
"I'm texting Amy."
"I thought that might have been her," he chuckled.
"How long have you been standing there?"
"Long enough. Does she know?"
"Yeah," I nodded.
He grinned back at me.
