Jamie's P.O.V
Deep down this kiss and tell story has effected me. I mean not as far to say it will change me, but its yeah, it's bothered me. Lectures are coming left, right and centre. My management are not pleased in the slightest, my Mum is embarrassed and Tiffany is worried something worse will happen next. I already regret it and I should have known she wasn't the right girl to be messing around with, but it will be old news by the end of the week so the best thing to do is forget it ever happened right? Unfortunately not in Mum's eyes, she has insisted she's coming over to see me.
I kept the house tidy for when she arrives bang on eight o'clock.
"Hiya," I smiled letting her in.
"Oh will you ever put some clothes on," she replied.
"Hi Jamie," I laughed giving her a hug. I have tracksuit bottoms on but I don't often wear a top at home.
"Hello love."
"How are you?" I asked.
"Fine thanks, are you?"
"Yeah not too bad," I replied. "Do you want a hot drink?"
"Yeah I could murder a coffee. Have you been home all day?" she asked.
"No, I've been round Tiffany's."
"Oh have you? How is she doing?"
"She's not sleeping too well at the moment but she's well. I left around seven, she's working tonight," I smiled.
"Oh, well as long as they're both healthy."
I sat down with Mum on the couch, placing her mug on the coffee table.
"Has Tiffany seen the story?" she asked.
"Yeah. She lectured me just as much as you're about to," I moaned.
"Doesn't that tell you something," she frowned.
"I'm single Mum. I haven't hurt anyone, what she wrote about me trying to steal her fame is a load of lies."
"I know that, but the rest of the country doesn't. I've been trying to tell you that you need to watch out now you're in the public eye."
"What am I supposed to do? Stay clear of girls."
"No, just be sensible. Act your age."
"I'm still young," I insisted.
"You're giving yourself a bad reputation."
"Come one, we both know settling down is not for me."
"Jamie, you haven't even tried. Look at Lewis and Amy."
"Mum please, I don't need this."
"But you do Jamie! Being in a relationship is so much better than sleeping around like you do, you said yourself you don't like the thought of Tiffany being single."
"That's different, she's having a baby."
"She's still single."
"She's not alone though, I'll be there for her."
"So if you can do that, why can't you settle down? The support she needs is what she would get from a boyfriend."
"It's just different Mum."
Normal P.O.V
Work didn't turn out so bad afterall. Although it was very tiring, it was nice to see the girls and have a catch up.
Driving through the surprisingly lonely streets of London I arrived home at ten o'clock in need of my usual Horlick's. I washed, got changed into my pyjamas and climbed into bed noticing my phone flash on the bedside table.
Jamie - Hiya babe, how do you fancy dinner for two tomorrow night? Me and you time :) Xx
Me - What have I done to deserve that? ;) Xx
Jamie - It was just a thought. If you're busy I'll see who else is available. Xx
Me - Of course I'm free, I'd love to! Xx
Jamie - Great, I'll pick you up at 8. Xx
Jamie treats me to an evening out quite often but for some reason it feels different this time.
