Chappie 21

JEONGHAN POV

I woke up to see someone else's face right in front of me.

It was Hyunii. She was still sound asleep, she had a rough night, suffering from all the traumatic memories that came back to her.

I hope she isn't so stressed out with it. I hope that she can talk to about it openly. I hope that she remembers me again. I hope... I hope...

I hope for so many things but I don't think any of them is going to happen.

I looked at her face while she slept. Studying every detail of her until I will never forget her even if she forgot me.

She's so beautiful even when she's not smiling. I've always wondered, how was I able to get such an amazing girl as mine?

I brushed her hair away from her face and leaned in to give her a peck on her forehead.

I moved back to my pillow and stared at her some more, she's so attractive, my eyes can't be taken off her. My love for her won't change.

I probably had a huge grin on my face right now and I bet I looked like an idiot. But I can't help it, she seemed to wash my fatigue and weariness away, giving me back positive energy instead.

Just then, her eyes fluttered open and I noticed that she was a bit taken aback when she saw me.

"Geez, too close." She shuffled away from me a little. I laughed and sat up on her bed.

HYUNRA POV

What is he doing? I can feel his breath on me! Is he close to me?

My mind was going crazy as I felt someone's presence near me. It must be Jeonghan. Then I felt something warm of my forehead but it left quickly although the burning sensation was still there.

Was that his lips?! Did he kiss me? Should I open my eyes now? No, it'll be too awkward!

My dramatic mind imagined all the weird scenarios and I tried very hard to calm down without him noticing that I was actually not sleeping.

I then tried to open my eyes as normally as possible like someone who has just woken up.

Geez, too close!

He laughed and sat upright.

"Too close?" He smiled his signature angelic smile and looked at me.

"Did I say that out loud again? I really need to learn how to control my thoughts. And no, don't ask me anything about what I just said. Please." I pleaded before I stopped myself from blabbering even more.

"O~kay. Good morning then. Get your lazy butt up, we're gonna have breakfast together. Let's go out to eat, I'm too lazy to cook. Oh, you don't have work right?" He said cheerfully.

Dang, he sure has a lot of energy in the morning. I thought he said he was a lazy bum?

"I'm no lazy bum. And I can hear you even though you're muttering really softly." But he still seemed pretty happy as he hopped out of my room.

I slapped my dumb mouth and reminded myself not to speak in front of him again.

He's gonna be the death of me, seriously.

"Seriously, why MacDonald out of all places?" I rolled my eyes and laughed at him.

"Cause it's super near and I don't feel like walking forever first thing in the morning." He said.

Makes sense.
