I woke up to this throbbing pain in my head and my entire body felt as if it was being pricked by thousands of needles. The glaring ray of light wasn't helping my eyes much either.

I looked around me and only saw one person by my side on a chair with his head hanging down and his arms folded, he looked like he was sleeping.

What am I doing here? Who is he? I'm Choi HyunRa ...right? I thought hard of what I was doing before and where I was before, but there was just a blank space in my mind. All this thinking hurt my mind even more.

I tried to shift myself into a sitting position, but I found no strength to do it. So instead, I reached out my hand with all my energy and tapped on his shoulder.

He didn't move. I wanted to try again but then hesitated. I dragged my arms back and closed my eyes, taking a deep breath. There was a strong smell of anesthetics and a constant beeping sound beside me.

Am I in a hospital? I guess I am.

I opened my eyes and caught the guy beside me stirring from his sleep. His head rose and his eyes fluttered open. He stretched while I quickly pretended to sleep on instinct.

I heard a yawn then a sigh.

"Hyunii... Quickly wake up." He mumbled softly.

Hyunii... Is that supposed to me? I opened one eye slightly and peeked at his face. He had really gentle-looking eyes and soft-looking hair. But I couldn't see very well without my contact lenses.

I stirred and shifted a bit as I was getting warm staying under my thick layer of blanket. He reacted immediately when he heard my movements, "Hyunii? Are you awake? Can you see me? Are you able to hear me?" He flooded me with questions.

I fully opened my eyes and peered at him and his mesmerising eyes. I then nodded my head, "I think I am awake?" Am I awake? Or am I still dreaming? I doubted my own consciousness. He gasped then inhaled deeply. Then he reached his hands out to hold mine, causing me to flinch back a little while I continue staring at him.

"It's me, Jeonghan. How are you feeling?", he asked and I only shrugged. But I still don't really know who he is.

"Who are you?"

"Like I said, it's me Jeonghan . Or as you like to me, Hannie." He replied.

Hannie? What kind of name is that? I also clearly do not know him so I just gave him a weird look and furrowed my eyebrows, trying hard to think of anyone I know who has such a name.

"What? Don't you know me? Your best friend? Your boyfriend?" He said, craning his neck towards my face. I moved my head back, feeling a little uncomfortable.

"Boyfriend?" I scrunched my nose, still furrowing my brows at him. "Yes, your boyfriend, as funny as it may sound. You really don't recall? Remember you confessing?" He raised his eyebrows at me while looking worriedly at me.

"Me? Confessing? That sounds like something I would never do. Don't lie, you are surely not my boyfriend nor best friend. I really don't know who you are." I sighed and shook my head, exasperated.

"Hyun Ra, this is not funny. You just woke up from a really severe accident and the first thing you do is joke." Jisoo looked at me with a really concerned look.

An accident? I got into an accident? Is that why I'm in the hospital?

"I got into an accident? What happened? How did it happen? I'm also not kidding about not knowing you. Actually... come to think of it...I don't remember anyone."
