Time skip (1 year) (I changed Willows age (and Elliot, Jessii, Ava, Hannah and Gabe) so they are all now 16). (This is confusing so basically I changed it so they were 15 and now because it's a year later, they're all 16. K? Good.)

Willow's POV:
"Get out you stupid f****** skank!" David screamed, as he chased me down the road. Tears streamed down my face as I ran. Bright lights flashed and cars zoomed past, soaking me in muddy water from a nearby puddle. I had no idea where I was going, so I just kept running. Seeing a park nearby, I headed for the gates and flopped on a small wooden bench. It was pouring with rain by this time, and I was soaked with tears, rain and puddle water. Sobbing, I curled up and hugged my knees. I shut my eyes and wished that it was all just a dream. Opening my eyes, I looked around hopefully. No. Not a chance. I was still sat in a bleak, rainy park surrounded by emptiness and litter. My emerald eyes were full with tears, and I ran away; behind a tree. Sliding down the length of the tree, I shut my eyes and drifted off into an uneasy sleep.

I awoke to shouting and yelling. Looking around, I spotted David, looking around, hitting a tree with his belt.
"WHERE ARE YOU?!" He screamed. Terrified, I shut my eyes, hoping he wouldn't spot me. I thought I was well hidden, but he had sharp eyes. Spotting me, he ran over and pinned me to the tree.
"You stupid, ungrateful B****!" He yelled, spraying spit everywhere. Shaking, I slid down, and he began hitting me with his belt buckle, every hit more and more painful.
"Stupid! Worthless! Ungrateful! Waste of space!" He shouted a hurtful word with every hit. I felt nothing. I was so used to the pain of his abuse, that I was pretty much immune to it by now. It was cold and he wasn't satisfied up my stomach and legs were numb. Dropping his belt, he used his hands and feet to kick and punch me. It was almost as if I could feel the bruises forming. The lies of how I got the cuts and bruises when teachers asked. Cat did it. I fell. Hit my knee on the table. He spat at me, before smacking my head against the tree once more and ran of, belt in hand. Shaking, I lay down on the rocky floor, as I was too weak to get up. Not that I cared if anyone saw me. Let them see. Let them stare at the unwanted, unloved girl.

"Willow. Willow!" I heard a voice call. I was shaken awake. I must have fallen asleep at some point. Looking up, I saw something I'd expected never to see again. Elliot.
"What?" I gasped. "Elliot?"
"Shh Willow. Listen, I'll explain later. Let's just get you cleaned up and home."
"No! Not home, please!" I sobbed.
"Ok, I'll take you to mine," he comforted. Nodding my head, he scooped me up and took me back to his house.

Elliot's POV:
I looked down at Willow. She looked the same as when I left. Still broken, hurt, abused, defeated. Yet, she was still as gorgeous as ever. I really need to tell her my secret. As I walked home, I kept an eye on her all the way. Stroking her hair, I looked at the door of my house. MY house. I hadn't been here in a year. Wondering if they would take me back, I knocked quickly on the door. My dad answered and asked, "Elliot?" He opened the door wider and ran to get my mum. I walked into the living room and lay the sleeping Willow down on the couch. Holding her hand, I kneeled down and stroked her long, red, wavy hair. I felt myself be pulled upwards into a tight hug. Mum. Wrapping my arms around her, she kissed my forehead before sitting down on the opposite couch with me. I explained what happened and why I left and why I faked my death. She nodded understandingly. I wish Willow had a family as great as mine.
"Listen, mum, dad. Willow's abused as you know. I found her alone, sobbing and drenched. She really needs a place to stay. Please, I'm begging you, let her stay in the spare room."
"Of course honey!" My mum exclaimed. We hugged before I noticed Willows eyelids beginning to flicker. I ran over to her side and grabbed her hand. She smiled weakly at me and I picked her up once again and took her to my room. She sat on the bed and I explained everything to her like I had to my parents. We snuggled up under a soft blanket and watched the fault in our stars. I paused the movie. Now was the time. Now or never.
"Willow?" I asked placing the remote beside me.

Willow's POV:
"Willow?" Elliot asked. I looked at his eyes. Blushing slightly, I looked down at my lap. Over this time and before he 'died', I had developed feelings for him. But surely that was wrong? He was gay.
"Yeah?" I replied. I couldn't believe what I heard next...
