Chapter 34

(A/N this is the New Years update, yes I'm aware it's 2 months late. Sorry 😬)

Willows POV:
I woke up and looked over at the spot where Angel should've been. Once I'd noticed she wasn't there, I sat up, looking for her.

Putting on my onesie, I tiptoed downstairs and saw Angel with her puppies, sleeping. I had forgotten all about yesterday.

"Willow?" A voice behind me whispered.
Turning around, I saw Sadie standing in the doorway.
"Do you want some coffee?" She asked, walking over to the coffee machine.
"Nah I'm good," I replied, sitting down on the sofa after turning on the twinkling tree lights.

It was still dark outside, so the gentle Christmas lights made the whole room glow slightly, as the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air.

Sadie walked over with her steaming mug and sat next to me.
"So, Elliot asked me if he could take you out today. I told him he could of you were ok with that?" She told me.
"Yeah, of course," I smiled.
"You two can still come to the New Years party if you would like to though," Sadie offered.
"Yeah ok. Any ideas on where we're going?" I asked hopefully.
Tapping the side of her nose, Sadie replied, "You'll just have to wait."

A comfortable silence filled the air as Sadie sipped her coffee. I stared off into space before standing up.
"I'm going to go and get ready, I'll text Elliot to see when he's coming over." I told Sadie.
"Ok honey," Sadie smiled.

After I was ready, I sat down on my bed to text Elliot.

W: Hey El x
E: Hi Willow Tree x
W: Sadie told me you were taking me out. You know what time you'll be coming here yet?
E: I thought that we could maybe see a movie (my treat) then go back to yours later on?
W: Sounds good, see you around 4ish?E: Yup, sounds good
W: Bye El xx
E: Bye W ❤️
