This is a story about Willow. She is a 15 year old girl, who is in love with music, which helps overcome her anxiety, self esteem issues and depression.
Elliot's POV: I can't believe that she actually said yes! What did I do to deserve such a gorgeous, beautiful, intelligent, funny girl as her for my girlfriend? We ate the rest of our dinner before heading out to the beach where we sat down and threw small, shiny pebbles in to the sea and watched them skim along the water before seeing them enter the sea with a satisfying splash. The moon lit up the beach as I gazed into her gorgeous emerald eyes. Willow leaned closer and I took the hint and leaned forwards. Suddenly, she closed the gap between us and our lips crashed together in a romantic kiss. I pulled her closer and held her close. We pulled apart, smiling. Noticing she was shivering, I pulled off my jacket and wrapped her in it and cuddled her close. Eventually, we headed home and fell asleep almost immediately.
Willow's POV: I sat up and stretched, yawning sleepily. Remembering the night before, a smile crept onto my face as I stood up and got ready for the day. I wore a blue and white checked flannel, with skinny jeans and brown boots.

I headed down the hall and knocked on Elliot's door. "El? Can I come in?" I called. "Yeah," he replied. I saw him laying down on his bed, playing on his phone.

He was wearing white trainers with a red and white checked shirt with jeans and a white t shirt. "Willow? Elliot?" Rose called. "I need to speak to you both." Elliot jumped up and escaped each other down the stairs. He tackled me into a hug and knocked me over onto the sofa. "Come sit down," Rose said. "First off. Mum I'm not gay. I'm bi. Willow and I a-are dating," Elliot whispered looking at his lap. "That's amazing!" Rose exclaimed.
Elliot's POV: "Ok. Willow, I got a call earlier from the police. Mr Jefferson had called them, reporting David. He is being put in prison soon with many accounts of child abuse and child neglection. Your step mother is also being charged with child abuse. However, you will have to go to an orphanage Willow. I'm so sorry." Willow said nothing and sat there in silence. I pulled her closer into a tight hug. "I'm afraid she has to leave tomorrow darling," mum sighed. "Tomorrow?!" I exclaimed. "I'm really sorry sweetie," she said. Willow and I headed upstairs to grab her things before my dad took us to Willows house to collect her things. Luckily, David was asleep on the couch when we went in. Dad stood by the door guarding us whilst we packed up. She didn't have many things as David wasted his money on cheap takeaways and alcohol. I put her clothes and bathroom items into her small suitcase, whilst Willow grabbed her sketch book, stationary and other things like that and put them in her backpack. Finally, she swung her guitar in its case over her shoulder and we snook out quickly. We sat in the car whilst Willow wrote a note to David and Stephanie. It read:
Dear David and Stephanie I hate you. You make me feel like a piece of worthless trash when really, you are. You never cared for me and I'm leaving for an orphanage as you were never meant to have custody over me as you are abusive and aren't related to me. My mum never wanted to marry you; you forced her to for her money. When she died, all you did was spit insults about her so I'm never going to see you again. I hope you burn in hell you heartless f*****^ monster. Bye -Willow :)
She ran inside and placed it on the table in the hall so he could find it when he ordered pizza. Lazy pig. We drove off and went home to eat some lunch.
Willow's POV: We ate lunch and spent the rest of the day by the sea, skimming stones. Eventually, John and Rose went home and Elliot and I watched the sunset. Elliot pulled me closer and kissed me lovingly. "I love you baby," he whispered. "I love you too," I smiled. We went home and before long, we were passed out in our beds.
"Elliot! Willow!" Rose called. "Breakfast!" The delicious smell of pancakes wafted up the stairs, causing us to race downstairs. After breakfast, I went to my room and grabbed my bags.
Elliot's POV: We drew up outside a large red brick building where we could hear kids screaming inside. Knocking on the door, a large, happy looking woman pulled Willow into a tight hug. "Willow!" She exclaimed. "I'm Mrs Johnson!" Willow smiled nervously before stepping inside. Before long, it was time to leave her. "I'll miss you," I said, hugging her close. Suddenly, she began sobbing into my shirt. "Oh Willow baby!" I cried hugging her tighter. After a while, she calmed down and kissed my cheek lightly before waving us goodbye as we drove off.
Willow's POV: I was terrified. "Willow? You'll be sharing a room with Abby," Mrs Johnson smiled. She left me to take my stuff upstairs. Dumping my bags on the hall, I looked down at my hand where she had written the door number. 18. Knocking on the door, a shy, brown haired girl opened it. "Hi," she said. "I'm Abby." "I-I'm Willow," I smiled. She picked up some of my bags and led me to a small bed and drawers in the corner. "Hey do you need help setting up?" Abby asked, looking up from her phone. "Nah I'm good. Thanks though," I replied. Abby left the room and went downstairs. I finished unpacking and sat down on my bed with a box I had packed. Looking through it, I saw a photo album, a charm bracelet, a dolphin necklace and a note. The photo album was pictures of me, my mum and my real dad, Joe. My favourite picture is one of us holding hands on the beach. The dolphins necklace is from when we swam with dolphins in America, just a year before my dads death. I was 9 at the time and dad died when I was 10. Years went by and eventually my mum died. The charm bracelet was something my mum bought me. It had a baby bottle for my birth, a guitar for my first guitar performance age 7, a dolphin from when we swam with them, a medal from the first art competition I won, a piano symbolising my dads death because he loved the piano, a pair of angel wings that Elliot's family bought me at my mums funeral and a heart that Elliot recently bought me showing his love for me. Lastly, I re read the note. A note my mum wrote me when she first was diagnosed with cancer.
Willow I'm sorry I have to leave you so soon with such an awful man in charge of you. Take care of yourself. From the day I met you, you lit up my life. I'll miss you. This letter is short as I have a hospital appointment soon. I'll miss you. Love you always and forever, -Ocean (Mum) xxx ❤️
