Chapter 40

"He's here," I said stretching.
"Yeah," Elliot sighed. He seemed disappointed.

We went downstairs and I opened the door. There stood Mr Jefferson holding a bag of books and paper. He smiled when he saw us standing there.

We led him over to one of the office rooms and we begun the work he had planned out for us.

Time skip

I closed my laptop and yawned.
"Anything else we need to do?" I asked Mr Jefferson.
He shook his head and began packing away the textbooks.

We watched as he drove away before Elliot and I headed up the stairs.
"Race you!" I smirked, as I begun sprinting up the 2 staircases.

I reached my room before Elliot and flopped down on the bed. A few moments later he came running in. He lay down next to me panting.
"Tired?" I laughed.
"Shush you," He said punching my arm playfully.

We spent the evening playing on our phones and annoying each other before he had to go. I showed him out and went to my room. Checking my phone, I saw a text from him.

Hey!
Next chapter will be a few months later (not irl time haha) and maybe after they've done their exams or whatever because it'll get boring haha.

I'm also really bad at writing about school and stuff because I don't know a lot about GCSE's etc.

Sorry these chapters are really short and boring, they're just fillers.

Hope everyone's doing good and is ok. Let me know if you have any ideas for things that could happen in the next few chapters (not HUGE things because I already have the main storyline etc planned out :) ).
