I was shaken awake by a happy looking Mr Jefferson.
"Willow!" He beamed, pulling me into a tight hug. "Oh my god! I'm just so happy you're alive!"
"Me too, me too!" I smiled back. I loved Mr Jefferson. It was like he was the only one who actually cared. Except for Jessii and poor Elliot. Suddenly, Jessii burst in frantically. She spotted me, and rushed over, a smile creeping onto her face. Hugging me close, she spoke no words, but sat down next to me.Shorting after, a nurse came in and gave me my medication and announced that I was able to see Elliot today! I quickly sat up. Mr Jefferson brought over a wheelchair as I was still not able to walk. I shuffled over to it and slid into the padded seat. Jessii quickly combed my hair, and Mr Jefferson grabbed the handles and pushed me towards Elliot's room. I saw him lying on a bed. Wires and tubes going in and out of him. His chest was heaving up and down steadily, and a machine beeped in one corner. Tears formed in my eyes as I realised that this was my fault. Jessii and Mr Jefferson pushed me over to his bedside and left me alone with him.
"I'm so sorry," I whispered. Choking back tears, I grabbed his hand a brushed his fringe away from his face slightly. Suddenly, I felt a squeeze on my hand. Elliot opened his eyes and smiled weakly. I sat up straight and let go of his hand. Wheeling over to the door, I wrenched it open and shouted down the halls, "Elliot's awake! He's not dead!"
Nurses and doctors came rushing in, followed by Mr Jefferson and Jessii.
Tears brimmed in my eyes as I looked over at Elliot. Suddenly, he vomited into a bucket that was near his bed. I saw blood drip down his chin and he passed out.Elliot's POV:
I felt someone grab my hand and whisper something. Willow. Trying with every ounce of energy I had, I willed myself to squeeze her hand back, and I did it. I did it! Sitting up slowly, I saw Willow drop my hand and wheel over to the door and shout something. I couldn't hear her. I couldn't see her anymore. All I could see was black and my head was spinning. Grabbing a bucket, I puked violently and I felt blood drip down my face. Tears pouring down my face, I passed out.Willow's POV:
Doctors rushed over to him and wheeled him away. Sobbing violently, I sunk to the ground. I heard someone come in and wrap their arms around me. Jessii stroked my hair and tried her best to calm me down, but I could see the pain in her eyes. Her face was covered in tears, and her smile was forced.
"Shh," she soothed. A doctor came in and crouched down beside us.
"I'm sorry. He's dead," he sighed and left the room. Everything was blocked out. It was just me and a room of darkness. Sorrow. Pain. Tears. Snapping back to the real world, I noticed Jessii had given up with trying to calm me and was now sobbing in a corner. How was he dead? It's not fair. No. Dead?!
