Into the Dark : Shadows

Prologue

This story I'm about to tell you is different from any other story you've heard.
In the year 1644, a scientist by  the name Angus Alistair Labonair in the attempt to create his own specie of vampires.  Accidentally, he caused a viral spread.
The virus affected his two children, James and Katherine. For weeks,  Angus witnessed his Children shift between life and death. Unable to bare this, he began to seek a cure but all to no avail.
After three weeks James and Katherine began to  feel like themselves again.
But slowly,  they began to notice a change in their traits.
Their skin became pale, their canines became longer and Sharper, their strength was increased, speed and agility included. They became immune to diseases and their senses were heightened.
Day by day, their lust for blood increased.  They had become vampires.
Unknown to them, Angus had become a vampire,  but his traits differed from his children's. He possessed their traits but his were far heightened than theirs. He also possessed wings of bat and was as fast as a bullet.
But to him this was more like a disease. Due to this disease, Angus moved his family to the forest of Escovia.
But then,  Angus realised that enmity began to stir up between his children. He also noticed that they were different. James was a strigoi vampire. Strigoi vampires were vampires who were prone to silver. They could be killed with anything made of silver. But only if the target was the heart or their was cut from the body. As for Katherine she was a moroi vampire. Moroi vampires were vampires prone to wood. They could be killed with wood.
The enmity between the siblings moved them years later to create their empire... To create Academies.
James turned a large population to strigois in order to build his army. Katherine did likewise and built her army of morois. The two opposing sides built impenetrable fortresses and established academies.
This is were our story begins.
In the year 2013, a human girl unfortunately finds herself in a vampire academy.
What will happen to her?, will she be able to survive?.
Only one way to  find out. Let's take a walk into the Dark.
