The Truth? (Dark Link X reader)

Chapter 11 /Part 1

My vision blurred as I felt myself fall onto my side. Feeling the grass and dirt on the side of my face as I struggled to breath. I could see Dark running towards me but passed out before he made it to me.

Dark's POV
I quickly ran towards Y/n as I saw she had passed out.
"Y/N!!" I shouted hoping maybe see hadn't fully blacked out. Finally reaching her I fell to my knees beside her and held her to my chest.

"You stupid fool. It was for food..." I spoke quietly before picking her up and carrying her over to our horses. Ripping some of the cloth from the bag Rose had sent lunch in, I proceeded to wrap her arm to slow the bleeding.

I held Y/N as I struggled to hold the horses reins at the same time. It was dark and there would be more enemy's out at this time.

I need to find us somewhere age to sleep.
I thought while walking slowly. Laying Y/n on the ground I took a break and sat down beside the still girl. The bleeding had gone down and her breathing was normal so she would be fine. I knew this, but I still couldn't help but worry.
Looking down at y/n, I remembered what Rose said. About confessing..

I feel like an idiot thinking like this. A person I like. Hmph.
What the hell is even happening? Damn feelings. I frowned, but stopped because I couldn't help but grin at the unconscious girl I had "feelings" for.

I slowly brought my hand to her hair and brushed it back with my fingers.

"Do you need help with something?"
A deep voice sounded from a few feet away. I looked up slightly and saw the orange glow coming from a lantern. To my surprise there was a male Zora and a hooded, smaller sized Zora, which I guessed was of the female gender.

I grunted while picking up Y/n and looking at the Male Zora.
"Only if you have a safe place for us to sleep." I replied coldly.

Y/N's POV
Breathing in, I could smell a scent of musty wood. I slowly opened my eyes and saw that I was in a small sized room laying in a bed.

"W-Where am I?" I said, thinking out loud. Attempting to sit up, I felt a sharp pain in my arm. Looking over at my arm I covered it with my hand to try and ease the pain.

That's right.. My arm was hurt by that arrow. Dark must've found a place for us.

As I was thinking, I heard the small door to the room squeak open slowly. A short female Zora walked into the room.

"W-who are you?" I stuttered.
"Don't worry." Her high soft voice started.
"I am not here to hurt you." She walked over to the bed and sat beside my laying form.
Still cautious, I laid there stiffly and just stared at her waiting for her to confirm who she was.

(Yeah, I lost the paper with all the characters names so I'm gonna have to find some new ones.
-Loading...-)

The awkward silence continued until she remembered what I had asked when she first entered the room.
"O-oh.. My apologies Y/n. My name is Haluro. I am... The youngest daughter in the Royal family of the Zoras." She said, slightly embarrassed.
"I don't matter much since I won't be inheriting much. So, don't feel pressured to call me anything like princess..." She trailed off.

I don't know... She just walked in and I just don't think I can tru-

"Dark Link brought you here.." She continued. My eyes widened as I looked at her in disbelief.
"Well, he brought you here with our help anyways." Haluro slightly smiled down at me.
"Our help? What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"O-oh yeah, another Zora is with me... He is out talking with Dark. You'll meet him when your feeling a little better."
She responded.

"Prove to me that your not kidnaping me or anything like that." I glared at her.
She sighed and started bringing up points of how to prove she wasn't "bad".
"For starters.." She began speaking with her quiet voice. "I'm helping you, and checking that you are okay. We also let you sleep here since it would not have been safe to sleep outside. And finally... Even though Dark Link is..." I cut her off.

"Even though he's wha-ouchh" I quickly placed my hand on my arm and tried to rub the pain away. She handed me a small red potion.

"Even though he is Dark Link, and the Zoras haven't heard many good things about him, we saw that you were injured and wanted to help." She said with a concerned look.

"Well, t-thank you." I said after drinking the red potion she gave me.

Crap, I forget her name. Should I ask? Or would that be rude?

"What was your name again? Sorry, I..." I looked away slightly embarrassed. "Forgot..."
"My name is Haluro." She smiled again.

She seems really nice. Maybe I can just-

Creeaak~
The room door opened and there I saw a taller Male Zora with Dark standing behind him.
"Oh? She's awake?" Said the male Zora with a hint of confidence in his voice.

I didn't want to keep readers waiting for the next chapter so I thought I would put out part one. Hope you enjoyed it. Don't forget to vote so I know I should continue this XD
