The Truth? (Dark Link X reader)

Prologue/ Chapter Zero

You sat in a dark room, head on your knees, thinking about what had happened earlier in the day.

A flashback<<
You were heading to Castle town to stop by a store so you could get a drink (such as the famous drink... Lon Lon ranch's Milk 😂). You walked into the "bar" and sat down asking for a glass of milk. While waiting you looked over and saw someone wearing green tunic sitting new to you! Is that... Nah, can't be... You thought.

"Miss, your milk." The man serving said. You quickly looked back at him and gave him the amount of rupees needed for the special milk.

Looking back to where the person wearing a green tunic sat, he was gone. You had shrugged it off and decided to leave, bringing the milk in the bottle given to you.
As you began walking towards the exit/entrance of the building, you could hear people, villagers, talking about you.
"It's that damned girl." Someone had murmured.
"She's the one that causes all the problems isn't she?" Another asked.
Of course you could hear them talking about you but... Once in a while everyone has to deal with something like this... Right?
Yeah, only it's all the time. You thought and sighed.

Deciding to shrug it off, you got up and began to walk towards the door.

*Bang*
Suddenly you had bumped into to someone and heard glass bottle holding your milk shatter.
Crap, crap, crap, crap.

You kneeled down and started picking up the glass that was on the ground; while hearing the voices talking about you increase in volume. You Quickly threw the glass out and walked over to the victim that the (wonderfully awesome Lon Lon Ranch milk you bought) milk you had bought landed on.
Slowly looking up you saw a green tunic.
When continuing to look up you saw the one and only Link.
Damn it. You thought.
He looked back at you with a worried expression. "Are you...okay?" He asked slowly looking over to your hand.
"No... I should ask you that. I'm so sorry about what happened. I feel... terrible." You replied.
You saw his blue eyes turn their attention back to your E/C eyes.
"Haha, no it's okay. I just have to wash this." He pointed to the tunic smiling.

He actually didn't have such a loud voice. People watching still talked about what you did, most not understanding that everything was fine.
A hooded girl walked over and pushed Link behind her so she could talk to you. She had a threatening look in her eyes. Taking off her hood she revealed her blond hair. (Yeah, if you couldn't already guess Lol. Yeah, she's not that nice here).
"How dare you do this to him!?" Her voice was about 5 times louder then Link's voice causing everyone to hear her.
"I-I didn't mean-"
"Zelda, calm down you don't have to-"
"No, she did... THIS to you, how can I just sit back!?" She told him. More people spoke, saying even harsher things about you, siding with the princess.

At this moment you gave up and rushed out of the store.
Why even bother trying to tell them the truth!? No one will ever believe me. Just because they all side with her. Darn that girl. And people are always saying she is the nicest. Although nice in this place... Doesn't seem like nice. It never has to me.

Continuing to speed walk to your home you began to cry, thinking about how unfair and one sided the world could be. After all, you always mind your business and try not to bother people.
Who had started this rudeness to you?

Well, no other then the blond haired girl that you all could have guessed.

Zelda. Ever since she was young she was against anything you thought and did, because once when you both were younger, you were playing tag and you accidentally tagged her too hard causing her to fall flat on her face. Thus, she bit her lip (when her face landed) and was bleeding. After, she had a hatred towards you.

What a grudge. You thought unhappily wiping your tears calming down a little.

You arrived at your house and tied your H/C hair up into a ponytail and walked into your home.
A waste of everything today, my rupees and my attempt of apologizing. Why did I even go out... It always goes the same.

And back to real time>>

You didn't feel like doing anything so you ate some bread then sat down on your bed and leaned against the wall, resting your head on your knees.
Why... Hylia? Why this sadness?
You sighed.

You heard a chuckle coming from somewhere in your room (remember you sat in the DARK.) ,causing you to quickly lift your head and try your best to scan the surroundings. Not finding anything, you convinced yourself that you were hearing things. However about 20 seconds after convincing yourself you heard it again.
A deep voice chuckling.  In a corner of your dark room you saw 2 ruby red eyes open.
You gasped and tried to move back farther only to fail because you were already leaning on your wall. All you could do was stay there.

"W-who are you?" You asked.
"Me?" He questioned . You could tell he was grinning from the way he asked. Your eyes adjusted more to the dark and you could now see his form a little better. You could see he had the same features as Link. However his tunic was black, his eyes glowing red, and his skin a darker tone.
"You can call me Dark." He grinned at you and took 3 slow steps towards you.
"I've been watching you for a while now ." He continued "I think you could help me with something..." He finished. 

You looked at his glowing eyes and tried your best not to show any fear. That might be what he hoped for.

" What is it you want?" You asked him.
"Hmm.." He pretended to contemplate what he wanted.
"I don't have anyone, you know? No
one cares about me." He told you.
"I thought you could possibly... Relate?" he froze and looked away for a moment observing and touched a book you wrote in, almost everyday (like a diary or journal.) He then picked it up.
"What's this? A journal? Do you write your crushes in this book princess?" He asked.
"W-what!? I don't even like anyone! Nor have I ever!" You responded in anger.
"And why is that?" He tilted his head as he finished his sentence.
Finally, you had noticed that that was how he got the answer he wanted out of you.
"Because.. Because no one in this "place" accepts me! They only follow that damned no good princess!"

You became shocked, amazed that you told him the truth. How you actually felt.
He laughed then grinned once more.
"I see I was correct when I said we were alike?"
You looked away avoiding eye contact. For you knew that his observation had been correct.
He walked over to you and leaned in, he was very close to your face. You blushed slightly.
"Am I correct?" He repeated.
"Y-yes..." You said looking down, just attempting not be so close to him.

"Haha, that's what I thought. So, I have an offer." He backed up, standing straight again. "I wanted to know if you would trade something with me. You give me happiness and I... give you..." He froze and thought for a while wondering what he could give you. "Anything you want." He ended.

"Anything.. I want?" You asked unsure.
"Yeah, why not? As long as it has nothing to do with the royal family or... that green elf." he growled.
Calming down he shifted his eyes back to you and you saw a hand shake being offered.
"So, what do you say, princess?" He asked smirking. As you stared at his glowing eyes you felt drawn to the hand waiting to seal the trade he had asked for.

Looking at his hand you grabbed it and looked back at him.
"Deal." You responded.

"Perfect." He said. He then pulled you by your hand into his arms embracing you.
"Just a second." He told you.
You blushed. Holy crap, why is he holding me. You thought.

In 5 seconds you were surrounded by dark smoke/mist. And you had fallen asleep in his arms not knowing what had happened.
