My head aches as it pounds against my skull. I lean my palms on the bathroom countertop to support the heavy weight my head feels at the moment. I grimace at my dreadful reflection in my mirror, silently cursing myself for drinking so much last night. My throat feels like sandpaper, my mouth sticky with thick saliva with a hint of vomit taste. I splash cold water on my face and give my mouth a rinse, just to feel something refreshing and instantly wish I could wash my brain free of the toxins too.

I drag my heavy limbs downstairs and into my kitchen, pouring myself a glass of water and popping two ibuprofens into my mouth, hoping it'll ease the ache. A fry up is the last thing I wanted because I really can't be arsed to cook when I'm hungover as hell. But I was going to have one anyway. So that's what I did, I cooked up some eggs and bacon. I can't be arsed with toast.

Once that was all done, and my hangover has almost fully subsided, I trudge back up to my work room, plopping down on my swivel chair, before burying my head in my hands once again to try to rid of the last bit of headache.

I soon start on my work, replying emails, correcting some mistakes made by the editing team, browsing through the marketing reports, answering calls, sketching out some ideas, all those fun and exciting stuff.

My phone then suddenly rings, and I immediately pick it up.

"Hello? This is Harry Styles." I answer professionally.

"Hey mate, what's up." I release a sigh of relief. "Please don't answer the phone like that when it's me who's calling. It makes me nervous." He tells me, before I release a soft chuckle.

"Aye Liam, sorry I didn't see the caller ID. What's up?" I ask, leaning back onto my chair and taking a deep breath.

"Want to head out for some snacks? Coffee?" He offers.

"I just ate my breakfast, Li." I tell him.

"What? But it's almost four." He points out. I turn to look at my clock, indeed seeing that is indeed almost four. 3.47 to be exact. Shit, was I really working for that long of a time?

"Shit. I didn't even notice." I admit in a groan. Sighing softly under my breath and massaging the spot between my eyes as lethargy takes over. Definitely in a work coma.

"Great. I'll meet you at our usual coffee space down the street in half an hour yeah?" He says before I even agreed to anything.

"I can't Liam. I've got a deadline to meet by the end of-"

"And this is why you have no friends." Liam comments, cutting me off. "And your colleagues don't count." He adds. I narrow my eyes at him even if he can't see me.

"You're my friend." I point out.

"Yeah. And if you're not meeting me for coffee, we aren't anymore." He threats.

"Heyy you can't do that." I whine and he chuckles softy.

"For real though, H. You need a break. You've been working non stop. I promise, I won't hold you back for long. I'll let you leave by six, how's that?" He says and I release a soft sigh. I could really use some fresh air.

"Okay fine. But I've got a conference call in like.. Now actually. I'll text you again when I'm done yeah?" I say.

"Fine. But if you're not done with this call by 4.15 I'm coming over to your rich arse house to drag you out." I chuckle softly at his words, nodding.
