BILLIE IS THE BOSS
"Billie you're taking point on this mission." Lydia announced, like it was no big deal. I was gonna run point on a mission by myself?! I really am becoming good around here, even Lydia can't deny it.
I must have been staring at her because she was glaring back at me, so I nodded and proceeded to get the hell out of there. When I did, I saw Izzy and Alec in the weapons room. I back tracked, I needed to talk to them.
What happened last night was out of this world. I go drugged, and head butted a random guy in the face, and called Isaac cute, and got a memory. They of course have no idea about the whole missing past thing still, I'll tell them when I'm closer to finding out who I truly am.
I'm not there yet.
"Hey lightwoods, anything good in here to help me with my mission later on?" I couldn't stop the giggle that came out. Izzy came sprinting over and hugged me.
"Billie! It's you're first mission, are you ready?" I thought to myself, I am ready. I should be ready. I've been training and I've even beaten Jace. I think I'm ready. I nodded at her as she pulled me over to where all the swords were.
"Good job Billie." Alec complimented not looking away from the weapons he was positioning. It was a start, a tiny start.
"Choose one." She said to me, motioning to all of the knives and death pokers in the room. Damn It would be a bitch to get stabbed.

Me and my team of three crept near the alleyway. It was giving me horrible flashbacks of the night I was attacked, so I was already on edge. I had Alexandra, Noel and Ellie checking the permitter while I kept my eyes down the alley.
They were good shadowhunters If I say so myself. Before we got here, which was Clinton street, we all trained with each other. I had to figure out if they were really gonna hold their own tonight. I was kind of testing myself too.
When the three of them cam aback they gave me the all clear. So I headed into the dark alley my bladed lighting up the dark. It was supposed to be an easy mission, just listen in and report back. But there was nothing to report back.
All there was was a body.
A girl was sitting against the wall, blood seeping out of her chest and legs. she didn't seem to be alive, not that I could tell. And if you had all those injuries you'd probably want to be dead. "Keep watch." I instructed as I knelt down to find a pulse.
I raised my two fingers to her neck, it was a faint one. But she had a pulse, no doubt about it. Her eyes were slightly open, and her lips parted. "Go." Her voice strained to tell me, but I couldn't hear her. And I had to save her if se could be saved.
"I'm here to help." I wrapped my arms around her waist and she slowly stood up. Every inch she moved she ached in pain and kept her screams quiet. "I got you."
Me and the unknown girl stumbled out of the alley and found the rest of the team. Once they saw me struggling to hold her they took her themselves from my hands. "She's one of us." Alexandra alerted me, pushing up her sleeve and revealing a rune.
"Get her back to the institute, and tell Lydia everything. Ellie come with me, we have to investigate." I ordered as Alexandra and Noel went away with the girl and me and Ellie went back into the alley.
Both of our blades lit up the dark concrete and building walls, this time giving me a better look at what happened. There was blood splattered all over the walls, and a pool of it where i had found the girl. "Who do you think would do something like this?" I asked Ellie who looked anywhere but where the blood was.
"Valentine, and his legion of deamons." She sounded gutted- did she know the girl?! It didn't seem like it. Why wouldn't she go with Alexandra instead of Noel? Did they all know her?
Making my way away from the blood I walked further down the alleyway. "I hope he rots in hell for what he did." Ellie snarled following behind me as we inched further in. Before I made a misstep Ellie grabbed me by my shoulder and stopped me and pointed to the floor.
My eyes darted to the concrete ground where there were ashes. I shined my blade over it and I could make out that it was from some type of deamon. Usually ashes don't last long, they wind away. I should know I witnessed it first hand. "She had blood coming from her chest and her legs, what deamon does that?"I mumbled trying to find some stored info on what kind of deamon we could be dealing with here.
Just as I was in my own train of thought, I heard Ellie scream out. I whipped around and saw that she had her own sword to her throat. I could faintly make out the horrible deamon keeping her captive. It didn't look human that's for sure.
"Let her go!" I shouted at it, but it didn't seem threatened by me or my words. As I was about to shout out another non-threatening threat, Ellie fought back. She kneed it and sen tit flying back into a wall. She was about to send it running through her blade when it seemed to work faster than her and send her flying back down the alley.
"Shit." I cursed, running with my blade right towards the deamon. It growled at me and took me by my neck before I could even touch it. I was gasping for air, my lungs burning and my eyes watering when something impelled my lower stomach.
I slowly looked down to see that it's hand was inside of me. I was helpless in that moment. But my finger twitched around my blade and my body reacted. My arm struck first and the blade went into the deamon. I heard it scream and felt it latching tighter to my neck but that didn't help it because it already turned to dust.
I hit the ground on my knees and tried to catch my breath. I did the best I could, with my stomach open. I put my hand over it and held into the wall for a second to catch my breath. That's when Ellie came running back, too bad she already missed all the fun. "Billie!"
"It's fine, I'm good. Just need something for this.." I trailed off in my explanation as I removed my hand from the wound, only it wasn't that bad anymore. I could- actually see it growing it's skin back!
I just healed! Again!
"Billie what are you?"
