Chapter 12

Levi POV

Its been a few days since we got home from the trip, and things were calming down at school, but Eren refused to go

It was Friday and I got home from work to find that Eren wasnt in the house

I look around and start to panic until I hear him in the back yard

I run to the back yard to see Eren sitting outside the sheed

"Eren what are you doing?" I ask

"Theres a kitten under here," he says

"What? I think I would know if there was a kitten under my sheed," I say

"No no it just showed up. I was going to get a drink and I heard it and have been trying to get it to come out," he says

"And how do you plan on doing that?" I ask

"I found some tuna and-"

I cut him off "wait is that my tuna?"

"Maybe... but it was all we had and we cant just leave her out here alone," he says in defence

"Yes we can, come on Eren," I say trying to make him come inside

"Why? Do you not like cats or something?" He asks

"No, im more of a dog person," I say

Eren then ghasps dramatically "what!? Who dosnt love cats?!" He asks

"Me, now come on," I say heading inside knowing hes not coming

I then stand at the kitchen counter looking out the window at him

He sat there on the ground talking and meowing at the cat tryig to get it to come out

I shake my head and go to start making dinner

~Time skip~

I sigh as Eren lays in bed refusing to get up

"Eren please, you need to go to school," I say and he just grones "if you get up and start going to school again, I'll let you keep the kitten if you catch it," I say

"Really?" He asks

"Yes," I say and he sits there for a second before jumping up and heading to the bathroom to get ready

After he was ready he headed out to catch the bus down the street and I started walking

We had to take different ways to get there just in case so no one would ask questions

And Eren has now convinced Mikasa and Armin that he moved out with staying with his friend and was now living in one of the apartments in the apartment complex by my house so theyd stop asking about his roommate

I arive at the school and head to my class room only to be greated bt Hanji sitting outside the classroom door waiting for me

"What is it?" I ask

"Its about you and Eren," she says only loud enough for me to hear

I sigh and unlock the door letting her in so we can talk about it in the classroom

"What is it about us?" I ask setting my bag on the floor

"Well you see, I told you id keep this secret but Erwin asked me about the roomers yesterday and I dont know what to do," she says

"Just tell him there not true, they were made up to cause trouble," I say

"But what if-"

I cut her off "no what ifs, nothing will happen this will pass, now if you dont mind I have to get ready for class,"

She then nods her head and leaves the room

I sigh and take a seat at my desk

If Erwin found out about me and Eren I screwed

We just have to make it through the other half of the school year and then Eren graduates from high school

I hear the warning bell go and students start to enter the classroom along with Eren

I notice he walks in with his friends and am relieved that everything is good with them

I then start with the class

~time skip~

Once the day is over I start packing everything up when all of a sudden my phone goes off

I pick it up and awnser it to hear the voice of non other than Isabel  and Farlan

"Bro!" Isabel yells into the phone

"Hey guys," I say

"We though we'd call and let you know we should be their tomorrow," Farlan says

"Great, then we can put the plan into action," I say

"Yep! Also Levi hows that boyfriend of yours doing?" Isabel asks

"Hes doing better now, thanks for asking," I say

"Anyways we need to get going so we can catch our flight," Farlan says

"Okay, have a nice flight. Bye guys," I say

"Buy!" They both yell into the phone before hanging up

I smile and place my phone back into my pocket

I then notice Eren at the door smiling at me

"Hey there Brat," I say smiling back

"Hey. So how are Isabel and Farlan doing?" He asks

"Their good, they should be here by tomorrow," I say and he nods

"Well we should get going home, its late," he says and I grab my bag and follow him out of the class

~Time Skip~

It was later that night and I was outside siting on the step, I looked up at the starts and admired them and there beauty

I look over to where Eren was,he was still trying to get that cat to come out

He sat on the ground with some cat food he picked up from the store and called the cat, meowing at it as it meowd back

I smile at how determined he was and how adorable I found it

After about an hour of this Eren passes out on the lawn and I notice the kitten came out

I camly walk over and pick up the kitten that was eating the food Eren gave it and I take it inside and put it in the bathroom

I then go back and pick up Eren and take him in to bed

After that I go back to the kitten and give it a bath and pick any flees or ticks off of it

After that I take it and put it in bed with me and Eren and it snuggles up with us and falls asleep, and not to soon after I fall asleep myself
