Ryan opened his eyes. He looked around only to find a dark empty room that seemed to have no end. Ryan attempt to form a ball of fire but failed. He rest his hands to his side, " I'm really starting to hate my luck."
Ryan sat down on the floor as he rested his head in his hands, " Think think think, what happened? How did I get here?" He fell silent for a moment, " Where am I anyway?"
A tiny laugh echoed in the darkness. Ryan jumped to his feet, " Hello? Who's there?"
The laughing grew louder then fade again. Ryan formed a fist as he tried to follow the voice, " Hey stay there. I'm here to help."
The little girl laughed playfully, " Ryan please find me, I'm scared."
Ryan attempt to follow her voice. Every step he took caused him to fall deeper and deeper in her echoes," Can you stop moving? It's really hard to find you when you keep running around."
The girls voice fell silent causing Ryan to stop in his tracks. He tried to form another ball of fire to light the room.
The little girl laughed once more. This time she slowly made her way toward him.
Ryan watched her closely, " Little girl are You lost? Where's your parents?"
She laughed playfully, " Do you know why you're here Ryan?"
Ryan stuck his hand out towards her, " I'm here to help you. You're safe now."
The little girl shook her head, " No you're lying. Nobody like a liar." She stepped closer to him, " You've lost someone or should I say something. You're here to find it."
Ryan took a step back, " Uh No, we just found who we were looking for and I have everything I need so..."
She flopped to the ground. A gentle fog covered her legs, " Wrong, why do you keep lying to me. I'm not going to hurt you so lying is pointless. Plus I know everything that enters here."
Ryan looked around only to see darkness and the cold mist hovering over the floor, " And where is here exactly?"
She stood up and smiled, " It's you. This place is everything that you are. Your own personal world."
Ryan shook his head, " Right, because that makes sense." Ryan crossed his arms the look up, " If I created this place, then why is it so dark and empty?"
The little girl stood up and crossed her arms to copy Ryan, " Well it wasn't like this before. It use to be beautiful and peaceful. I pulled you in here to help you out. You've lost yourself and what makes you who you really are."
Ryan shook his head, " So what are you doing here?"
The girl jumped up and down in excitement, " Oh this is fun to explain." She closed her eyes and cleared her throat as if she was going to give a speech. " I'm your flame, your ability. I am your fire and you are the knight. Together we are amazing. You're welcome by the way." She stood up and took a bow. Her confidence posture annoyed Ryan.
Ryan sat on the floor shaking his head, " Great I'm trapped here with a kid who thinks she's my flame." Ryan turned to her, " Look you're crazy, this is crazy. All of it doesn't make any sense."
The little girl sat next to him. Her body slowly grew brighter. Moments later her skin became fire. She looked at him, " It's crazy but its true. Its hard to wrap your mind around moments like these because you humans are so reliant on science and logic that you forget about what makes life wonderful." She gripped her wrists. She covered the purple flame with her hand.
Ryan spotted the purple mark, " what's that? Your arm was purple."
She slowly turn back into her human form, " You're infected by the void. Don't worry I don't blame you for my pain. There's nothing you could of done to prevent it from happening." They sat quietly for a moment, " You need to wake up. Your friends are getting worried."
Ryan ran his hand through his hair, " And how do I do that exactly?"
She smile as she jumped to her feet, " It's your world silly. Just imagine yourself waking up."
Ryan laughed, " If it's that simple to leave then how do I get back here?"
The little girl hugged him, " Just slow your heart rate and think of the things you love." She pulled away and laughed, " Tell Arya I said hi."
Ryan smiled as he closed his eyes. He started to count in his head, ' 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.'
