"SHIIIII-" I yelled with Diane as we plummeted downwards. Desperately, I tried to start flying but this spell or power was preventing me from doing it. I felt fear begin to grip me, but I quickly shook my head to focus again. My emotions wouldn't control me twice in one day. I quieted down as my mind started racing.
Not many people know I can fly, so I doubt this guy does. I only used it on occasion back when we were all a team. I glanced over at Diane to see she was still in panic mode, looking around to see what she could use. She was a little lower than I was, probably because she's heavier so the ground came out from under her first.
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. The weight from my body lifted, so I stopped myself. Snapping my eyes open once more, I looked back at Diane. She was still falling and she hadn't noticed me.
I began to dive headfirst down, speeding myself up until I was slightly below her. Then I laid back and grabbed onto her around her core. She looked at me surprised. Quickly, I slowed us, gently setting her onto the ground before letting myself fall back onto my butt. I wasn't used to flying with someone else so high in the air.
"(Y/N)! Are you okay?!" Diane asked, checking me over. I took a deep breath and put a small smile on my face.
"Yeah, yeah," I reassured her, "It's just been along time since I've carried anyone while flying. What about you? How are you feeling?"
"Me?" Diane asked, "I'm fine thanks to you!" She held out her hand and I gave her a thankful look, the smile on my face growing. I took her hand and got up, looking around in the crevasse. There wasn't much down here, except-
"Diane! Your Gideon!" I pointed to the giant sacred treasure. Diane's eyes went wide as a grin grew on her face.
"There it is!" She ran over to it and I took the time to get a closer look at the walls around us. Maybe we could climb? Or at least find some ledges? There was no way I could fly us all the way up. Running my hand against the wall, I sighed as it crumbled immediately. The earth down here wasn't packed enough. I'd just have-
"AAAAAA-" I spun around and raced back to Diane, worried by her screams. I froze as soon as I saw her. Her clothes were ripping and she was growing?! What the-? Suddenly the fabric snaps and I feel my face flush as I look at the wall. Why is she suddenly going back to normal now?!
After a few moments Diane calmed down, but was clearly still distressed by her voice, "Oh man! Those were Elizabeth's!"
"Diane?" I heard a high pitch yelp come from Diane as she remembered I was here.
"(Y/N)!"
"So, what- What the hell just happend?"
Here is my pre-written chapter for you all! Next chapter will be in less than a week, I promise.
