Starlynn's P.O.V.

"STARLYNN WAKE UP!" my older sister Amber yelled. "I'M UP" I yelled back. I got out of bed and ran downstairs. I see a plate of rainbow pancakes with a candle sticking out of them. "Happy Birthday to you..." My parents and sister started singing "Happy Birthday dear Starlynn, Happy Birthday to you!" I smile and blow out the candle. Today I turn 16. You would think I'm going to have this big fancy party and stuff, but nope. I don't like to get out much unless it's with my friends. Besides that I stay home and listen to my music, do art, and watch my loves. Oh and eat food. Can't forget that. My mom says I'm really obsessed with them. But who isn't. I mean Cameron, Taylor, Nash, Hayes, Jacob, Jack, Jack, Aaron, Shawn, Matt, and Carter are just indescribable. I got in the shower then got dressed. I put on my black flats, a black floral print skirt, and a white short sleeve top with a faded jean jacket over it. Once I was dressed I plugged in my curling iron. Once it was heated I curled my long brown hair in loose curls. Finally, I put on mascara, black eyeliner and a light shade of tan eyeshadow. "I don't have all day." Amber said annoyed. "Shut up." I said grabbing my breakfast and bag. I hugged my parents good bye and header out the door to my sisters car.

~ At School ~

I sat with Amber in her car for 10 minutes to finish up my pancakes. "Hurry up I have to get to school too." Amber said. Once I was finished Amber handed me a Starbucks gift card. I looked at her and smiled. She pulled me in for a hug and said "You look beautiful and I'll pick you up later to get Panera for lunch during my free period." I nodded my head and got out the car. I walked into the main entrance. Same old boring day like always. I puffed out a breath of annoyance cause I didn't see my friends. "Really" I whispered to myself upset and started walking to my locker. Once I got there I had the widest smile. On my locker were streamers and balloons and signs with my name saying "Happy Birthday Star!" Before I knew it my eyes were covered by someone's hands. I turn around to see My friends Danni, Layla, Adrianna, Joce, Guadalupe, and Arianna. They yelled "Happy Birthday" and gave me a group hug. I hugged all of them and said thank you. Once I was released first bell rang and I ran off to my first period class.

~ Lunch ~

After a day of 5 periods going by I only have 2 more periods left then I get to hang out with my friends. I wait outside for my sister and when I see her pull up I get in the car. When we get to Panera I order a sandwich and soup. I eat my food then throw my trash away and get in the car.

~ End Of The Day ~

Once I got home I saw a note on the front door leading to my present. It said "Go to your room and the smell is delightful." My parents do this thing for me every year where I have to go look for my present. Kind of like a scavenger hunt type thing. I found the second note in my room which is where I find present one. Present 1 is 2 vanilla cupcake candles and Vanilla Sugar lotion, body spray and body wash. Then I find present 2 which is an outfit, but then there's a note that says "Wear this with present 3." I finally find present 3. There's a little white envelope taped on my night stand saying "Enjoy :)". I pick up the letter and slowly open it.
