Chapter 8

Carter's P.O.V.

"Where's my daughter. Starlynn Adams." I hear a women which must be Star's mom. "Over here Mrs. Adams." I say waving my hand in the air. "Who are you and where's my daughter?" she ask worried but angrily. "I'm Carter Reynolds and the doctor is checking her out right now." I say quickly. "You must be the guy I let her stay with last night. You that MAGCON guys she loves right?" She asking raising an eyebrow at me. "Yes." I respond. "She's okay." the doctor said walking out the room. "Can I see her." I said jumping out of my seat. "No." her mom said sternly. "Why not." I said. "I never want you to see Starlynn ever again. She almost died cause of you." she said walking into Starlynn's room. "Okay." I said walking away. I was upset. I didn't do anything her mom can't blame me. What did I do.

Starlynn's P.O.V.

"Star honey are you a wake?" my mom says holding my hand. "Mm." I mumble. "Oh my I'm glad your ok sweetie." she says kissing my forehead. "Where's Carter?" I asked my mom. "I don't want you seeing him anymore. You could've died." she says. "But mom I didn't. I want to see Carter mom. Where is he." I said. "Starlynn no." she said kind of yelling this time. "Miss. Adams do you need anything." my nurse asked me. "Yes. Can you get a boy with a black shirt, white pants, and black glasses." I said describing Carter's outfit. "Yes." she said walking away. "Starlynn why did you do that." my mom said actually yelling this time. "Cause he saved me. I want to at least say thank you." I said yelling at my mom which made me feel a little light headed. I only woke up an hour ago I don't need my mom yelling at me telling me I can't see Carter. I heard a knock on the door. "Come in" I said closing my eyes cause I got a headache. The nurse slightly opened the and Carter entered with his head down. " Mom can you leave please." I said. "Yes." she said grabbing her purse and waiting outside. Carter lifts up his head. And I see a tear stained Carter. "What happened." I say pulling him closer to me. "Nothing." he said holding my hand and pulling the chair closer to my hospital bed. "Something happened Carter just tell me." I said worried. "Your mom." he said in a faint whisper. "What about her." I said raising an eyebrow. "She I couldn't see you anymore. Cause I almost killed you." he said. "Carter thank you. If anything you saved me. I could've died if you didn't save me. Thank you." I said in a whisper. "But I won't ever get to see you again." he said in a whisper. "Carter I-I don't know what to say about that. I mean why would you miss seeing me." I asked on a whisper. "Just because." he said. "But why. Why will you miss me that much." I said. "Star just cause." he said raising his voice a little. "But there has to be an answer its not 'just cause'." I said. "Because Starlynn because I love you. Happy that's what you wanted to hear." he said yelling this time. "Carter I-I-I don't know what to say." I said starting to cry. "Star I'm sorry it's just I thought you don't love me back." he putting his head down. "Carter. I do. I do love you." I said crying a little bit more. "You do." he said lifting his head up. "Yes." I said crying more and more by the second. "Starlynn. Don't cry bae. Your to beautiful to cry." Carter said wiping away my tears. "Thank you." I said. I looked at Carter. I just stared at him. He leaned in and I leaned in. Our lips touched and sparks just flew. I started getting butterflies. His lips soft against mine. We pulled away and smiled at each other. I blushed and he said "Star your cute." I smiled and said Thanks. This night was perfect. I can't wait to get out of here tomorrow to hangout with Carter. "Get some sleep beautiful. We'll hang out tomorrow once you get out of here." he said. "Okay bye." I said smiling. "Bye beautiful." he said kissing my forehead and exiting. This was incredible. I went to sleep peacefully rethinking that wonderful moment.
