Chapter 20

Carter's P.O.V.

"Where here!" Starlynn said excitedly. Soon everyone piled out the truck. Star ran to the door first since it was her friends house. The door swings open and out comes a girl. She's about the same size as Star a little shorter, she had black hair, and had light tan skin. She hugged Star then looked at the rest of us and smiled. "Oh let me introduce you." Starlynn said turning around facing us again. "Kira, you already know Danni, Layla, and Lizzie. These guys are Nash, Cameron, Matt, Taylor, and my boyfriend Carter. " Oh the boys from vine. I love you guys so much." Kira said. I guess she really doesn't freak out like some people. After standing outside for about 5 minutes we finally went inside. I know Starlynn was kind of scared, but excited. She rarely ever goes to parties. Once a month tops. There were people dancing. Their sweaty bodies grinding up against each other. The smell of alcohol immediately filled my nose once we walked passed the kitchen and living room were everyone was dancing. I grabbed Starlynn's hand to calm her down. She I felt her hand loosen up. Kira led us outside to the back porch deck. We all sat in a chair. I sat on the two seater with Starlynn. Holding her the entire time. "Hey guys." I heard an unfamiliar voice say. Starlynn perked up and turned around. "JACOB." she yelled running up to the brown haired guy with green eyes and tan-ish skin. "Hey baby girl." he said to her hugging her. "I miss you so much." she said releasing from the hug. "Carter I'll be inside. I'm gonna go talk to Jacob." she said before he took her hand and led her inside. Soon everything was hot. I was burning up. Kira came over sat next to me and said, " Carter right?" "Yeah." I replied. "Don't worry they're just really good friends." she said to me handing me a drink. I chugged it down real quick. I burned my throat at first, but my second one I got the hang of. "They seem to good." I said taking the last sip of my third drink. Kira seemed like a cool girl. We talked for about the rest of the night. Everyone else left to go dance or something. I went inside to dance with Kira after about an hour. "Carter." I heard a voice say. I couldn't make out the voice because the music was blasting and, I really can't think right now, after about seven or eight drinks you don't know what's going on. "Carter." the voice said again. I turned around and saw Starlynn. "Come on let's go." she said. "No I wanna stay." I said whining. "The hell Carter were you drinking." she said looking at me. "Yeah maybe." I said bluntly. "You're acting like an ass. Now lets go." she said pulling my arm. "You're acting like a bitch." I replied back removing my arm from her grasp. She looked at me and said, "You didn't mean that." "Yes I did. You're a bitch, whore, slut, just a worthless ass bitch." I whispered to her. She looked at me with tears forming in her eyes. She was speechless and after that she walked off.

Starlynn's P.O.V.

Tears formed in my eyes at every single word he said. I walked off and cover my face. It so happened Matthew passed by me. "Girly." he said tapping my shoulder. "Matte." I said and hugged him tightly. "What's wrong." he said as I released from the hug. "Carter just I-I-I don't know. He's drunk and he just told me th-th-that I'm-" I broke down crying. "Okay Star I need you to go to the truck." He told me. "No everyone's gonna asked me what happened." I said shaking my head. "No they won't they're sleep. Nash and Lizzie are sleep in the trunk of the truck and Danni, Shawn, Leylah, and Taylor are sleep in the middle and Cam is sitting in the driver seat cause he's gonna drive. Just go hop on the passenger side. I'll bring Carter outside and have him in the trunk there's enough room back there." He said before walking off to get Carter. I walked outside and stood out there for about five minutes to clear my head, then walked over to the car. I opened the door and heard a few snores. I sniffled and the chattered my teeth signaling I'm cold and just finished crying. I grabbed a napkin for the little armrest and whipped my face. "Hey princess you alright?" Cam asked me. "No. Carter said some things that I'd not like to discuss and I'm cold." I said looking him in the eyes. "Well one, I'm sorry about that and two, here's my sweater." he said handing me his sweater. I smiled and slipped it on. Cam leaned in and kissed my cheek. I smiled and looked at him. He then took he's hand and placed it on my right cheek and with his thumb caressed my cheek. "I don't care what anyone tells you, you're beautiful, you're not worthless, you're not a whore or a slut. You're a beautiful, wonderful person and, I love you Starlynn." He said and leaned in and kissed me. I backed away and said, " Cameron we can't have a repeat of last time." "Okay I'm sorry." he said and looked down. "Cameron. Look at me." I said to him. He looked up at me and said, "Yes." "You'll find someone. Trust me. I'm not special." I said smiling. "Okay and yes you are." he replied. I smiled and kissed his cheek. He smiled and looked up with a wide smile. I giggled at his cuteness. A few minutes later I see Matthew dragging Carter out of the house. "Im gonna go help him okay." Cam said getting out the truck. I looked out the window and saw them carry Carter to the back of the truck. They opened the trunk and set him down gently. Soon the driver door and back door opened and Cameron and Matt got in. I laid back and closed my eyes. Soon I was sleep.
