Knock knock.
I sighed and rolled over, ignoring the sound.
Knock knock.
I tried to remember my dream a little. A smile emerged on my lips, and the Angle's gorgeous face floated back into view.
Knock knock.
Groaning, I opened my eyes and looked across the bed. Lucifer had his head beneath the pillow. He was never going to get the door. I threw on my robe, and shuffled over to open the door. I should of spent more time on my appearance, or at least attempted to fix my hair. When I opened the door, the same breathtaking face was before me, however this time he was not a dream.
He looked down at my clothing, and I hurriedly tried to wrap my robe in a more appropriate fashion, to hide my naked body just a little bit more.
"What do YOU want." I glared at him, his disapproving eyes making me snap.
"His Grace wishes to have a word with Mr Lucifer."
"I'll make sure to pass on the message." The angel nodded his perfect head, and then was about to turn to leave, before he hesitated.
"Can you please make sure he comes immediately? He always seems to keep the Lord waiting..."
I looked at him.
"I'll try. How about we agree to be an hour late. Let's be realistic, an hour is a huge improvement..."
He looked at me strangely. And then smiled.
My heart stopped.
When he left, I undressed and climbed back into bed. My heart was yet to restart itself. I was hoping to get a few moments more sleep before we leave, or at least to regain normal abilities again... like living and all that jazz.
"Who was it?" Lucifer mumbled from under his pillow.
"An arch angel."
"In my Hell! Which one?!?"
"Um... I don't know his name. Blonde hair. Stern-" but dazzling "-face. I think he is a healer or something? Wears practical clothes..."
"Raphael."
Despite the venom in Satan's voice, my stomach felt funny at his name being mentioned, and I couldn't help but repeat his name inside my head.
Just like when I was in.... was in... Some place with desks and chairs? That doesn't make sense. I tried to dig deeper into this bizarre sense of dajavu, but the feeling slipped away from me. I frowned. Strange.
Beside me, Lucifer had return back to sleep.
I was lying in his bed, utterly confused, my heart STILL going crazy. Over a completely DIFFERENT man. And he was too busy sleeping. This is just. Fan-bloody-tastic.
