I nearly start to cry as I leave and see him standing at the doorway.

When I get into the car I turn on the radio and drive.

I feel bad about leaving him but it was awkward anyway.

I get home and see my mom on the couch.

"Hi mom." I rush past her.

"Stop." she says.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Never mind." she shakes her head.

"Mom tell me."

"I don't have to if I don't want to." she yells.

I walk away to take a shower

"Fine." I grunt.

When I am done taking a shower I look at the time. It's already 10 o'clock. I sigh and go to bed.

By the time I wake up, I hear 80's music.

I roll out of bed and eat some cereal.

"How'd you sleep?"my mom ask.

"Fine, you?" I say.

"Good. Start to clean your room when your done." she informs.

"Wait."

"Yes?" I shyly ask.

"It's about your father. He..."
