"Mom!" I yell cradling my ribs.

She runs up the stairs and swings the door open. She gets to my bed where I lay, holding myself.

"Do you need to go back?" she ask.

"Please."

She gets a wheelchair from a closet and sits me down. She looks at the stairs then back at me.

"I'll carry you down then bring the wheelchair." she informs me.

"Thank you." I say and lifts me from the wheelchair and I put my arm around her, so I don't fall. When I get down stairs, I sit on one step while my mom brought down the wheelchair. She sits me down again and rushes me into the car. She folds down a seat and straps me in.

"All set?"

I give her a painful nod.

She gets in the drivers seat and drives to the hospital. As soon as she gets there, she hurries to get me out of the car and into the hospital.

"Hi my daughter is having a 'cancer cramp'.

"Ok." she gives my mom more information but I pass out.

"Sarah?" I hear someone say and wake up.

"Oh thank goodness." my mom sighs with her hand on her heart.

The doctor tells me I will be staying in the hospital for a few weeks until I have recovered from the surgery I will have. I narrow my eyes and look at him.

"I don't want to have surgery." I tell him.

"Honey, you have to to survive." my mom chimes in.

"Will it hurt?" I nervously ask.

"You won't feel a thing. Trust me." he gives me a warm smile.

"He said it going to be this Sunday." my mom says.

"Isn't that a little early?"

"Not at all." the doctor chuckles.

"Ok." I sigh.

"Until then you will have to stay here."

"No school? No mall? No movies? No... anything?!" I raise my voice.

"Sarah, calm down." my mom comforts.

I nearly start to cry at the biggest 'no' of all of the ones.

"No Harry." I do cry at the words that escape my lips.

"Sarah, he is no good for you."

"I don't wanna fight again mom."

"Ok, I will not talk about it."

The doctor clears his throat obviously trying to get our attention.

"Sorry doctor." she apologizes.

"No it's fine." he lies.

"Do I leave?" my mom asks awkwardly.

"Yes, you will have to go back home and settle there until Sarah can go back home.

"Ok." she whispers trying to hold hold back the tears that were already shown.

"I'll go now. I love you baby." she kisses my forehead and leaves the room, then the hospital.

"I love you too." I say as she shuts the door softly.
