When they finish eating their dinner, they go to their room to sleep. Mary and Austin sleep backing each other. Mary planned to see her mother the next day.

The next morning Austin prepares to go to work. Mary makes coffee for him but he rejects it because he is in a hurry.

Later in the afternoon Mary goes to see her mother in her house. She takes a cab to Mercy's place so that she could discuss the issue.

When she gets there she sees her mum watching television. She knocks the door and her mother goes to open the door.

"Mary, you're here. Wow." Mercy says excitedly.

"Mum, how are you?" Mary greets her and walks in to sit. "Mum you're watching CNN again." She says as she picks up the remote and she changes the channel.

"Mary my dear daughter... " Mercy says as she shuts the door and goes to sit beside her daughter Mary. "You're here for what tell me my daughter?"

"Mother it is very important. It is about my marriage." Mary says remorsefully.

"What is it my dear daughter? What has come between your marriage?" Mercy says so inquisitively.

"It is about Austin and me again. It is now getting more annoying." Mary says. She picks her hair strand by strand.

"What happened this time again? I hope it is not bad."

"Mum, my presence irritates Austin. Anything I do is wrong in his sight. I think he is still falling for that woman called Sandra. He doesn't even make love with me. I have even tried luring him to bed but he has refused. He said he won't touch me." Mary says with her eyes flooded with tears. "He is a love expert. I don't know what to do. I have tried but I'm not just enjoying this marriage, it is a terrible one indeed."

"Why didn't you tell me this since? I would have gone to meet a dark magician I've heard of. He is better than criss angel. He can help us out in this situation." Mercy says so distinctly.

"What mother! I'm a Christian and you know I don't believe in magic." Mary says succinctly.

"Alright let God do it for you. Let me tell you no matter how you pray, do you think God will change his mind?" Mercy says so confidently. Mary seems convinced by her mother's statement. "I know that magician very well. He is all powerful and he can't be defeated."

"Alright mother. Thanks for your concern." Mary says as she opens her handbag and brings out fifty  dollars and hands it over to her mother. "Mother I'll give you more later. Especially, when the job is done and when you need it."

"Alright my daughter, you shall be blessed." Mercy says smiling.

"I should be going by now. Austin arrives very early on Fridays." Mary said as she stood up to take her leave. "Later mother, I'll see you later to discuss some other issues." Mary is escorted by her mother to the terminus close by. Mary boards a taxi and leaves for her home. She bade her mum the final goodbye for the day.
