Dark's POV
It's a lot more heartbreaking when you watch the person you love try to commit suicide. It makes it a lot harder if they die.
Light was in the back with the doctors. Who was currently trying to revive him. At least long enough to get the surgery over with.
If Light could he would heal Anti, but he can't. The wound was too deep and the doctors have to work on it first. When they came in there they were already losing him. The blood was the only thing I can remember. His pale face flashed through my mind. Along with his bony hands.
I wish I knew that he had that knife hiding behind his back.
My head snapped up to the sound of the door opening. Friends trickled in sitting in the waiting room with me. Dan and Phil sat next to me ready to hold me if I break down again. If they weren't there I can only tell ya that Anti would be dead by now. Only because I started crying as soon as Anti stabbed himself. I couldn't stand or anything. They were the ones who carried him out of the apartment to the car to get him to the hospital. Along the way, we picked up Phoebe. Two cars are what it took to get him there. One with Anti's body in the back and the other with Phoebe crying in her fathers' arms.
Now, all it is the waiting game.
--------------------------------
Light walked out from the back of the hospital with a somber expression on his face. He didn't say anything he just sat down and put his knees up to his chest pressing his face into his knees. We all wanted to know if Anti's okay. But we didn't dare ask him. Light's shoulder shook as he cried. Everyone sat still. Sadness milled around in the air.
It dawned on us that Anti was not okay.
He could be dead.
Without Light, we are screwed.
