Peter had stayed by your side through everything.

He never left you, hoping that one day, you would wake up.

Two weeks ago, you had both been engaging in a fight with the Avengers under Loki's control. During the battle, you had gotten seriously hurt, not to mention, had developed a big mastery bruise around your neck after Steve almost choked you to death.

Steve had managed to slip the mask off your face, revealing to Peter Parker who you were.

That night was his worst nightmare.

Ever since you had joined Midtown High, Peter had developed a crush on you. A far away crush, seeing as your group of friends was a little different to his.

You tended to be a little more popular, having more than 10 friends (which irritated you), and also having almost the whole world's attention on you.

Since the first day, boys had tried their best to win over your heat, whether it was trough a dedicated song, a intricate dinner, a trip to the amusement park, or a walk along the beach, you always seemed to be surprised in the morning.

Everyday was a new boy, but none of them were the one you wanted.

The one you wanted would always sit with his two best friends, Ned and Michelle. He would constantly be engaged in conversations surrounding Star Wars, an Internship at Stark Tower, and admitting their feelings to their crushes.

There was always something.. off about him ever since you met him.

And, of course, ever since you walked into school, Peter realized there was something.. off about you too.

The way both of you carried your confidence, letting your confidence slip through your masks as you talked to friends or classmates.

You were known as the popular girl.

Peter was known as the science geek.
