Nadine POV
The next few days were boring. I was cooped up in what I eventually learned was Master Liam's bedroom. I felt bad for taking the man's room and I think I've said 'thank you' at least a hundred thousand times when he checked in on me.
However I was somewhat productive in binge watching my favorite shows on Netflix. Brent even kept me company when he could and at a point it felt nice to feel normal even though I wasn't.
Brent had fallen asleep as we finished another movie and I looked over to check the time. It was 9 o'clock, which meant it was night time and I can venture out of the room. I wanted to see more progress on the new windows being put in so that I don't have to be stuffed into a room all day.
I made my way downstairs and to the kitchen, taking a seat at the counter. Charles was siting at the kitchen table that in small nook eating what I'd assume would be his dinner.
"So what did you binge watch this time?" He asked me sarcastically.
"If you must know, we watched Moana." I said cheerfully before I got up from my chair and went over to take a spot next to Charles. He looked up from his plate to see I was giving him a smug look on my face.
"What?" He asked with a creeped out and confused look on his face.
"Your welcome." I said.
"Oh god, don't please don't." He started to beg as if he knew exactly what was going to happen next.
"What can I say except that your welcome!" I said singingly. I was never a singer, ever. So of course even if I tried to be on key, I was worse then scraping nails against a rusty bucket.
"Please, for the love of god don't start with the Disney songs." Charles continued to plead.
"Let it gooooo!" I started to sing off key. "Let it goooo! Can't hold it back anymore! Let it go, let it go! Turn away and slam the door!"
Charles scrambled out of his chair trying to get away from me. "Nope nope nope, I don't do the Disney thing."
I used my vampire speed and zipped in front of him as I switched genres. "Hey this is crazy, but I just met you. So here's my number, call me maybe?"
He covered his ears and pushed past me as I choose to leave him be at that point. Charles was on the fence on if he wanted to like me living here or not. One hand I did try to ditch them when I was being brought to Orlando a few months back, but I did save him in New Orleans. He'll eventually come around and warm up to me.
I went back to the kitchen and started to poke around to see what all they had. The kitchen was huge like it was made to produce large meals. The cooking stove was very professional looking like one you'd find off the Food Network channel. One side had two burners and a small oven door with a griddle surface separating the small side from the larger side. The larger side had sex burners and a larger oven. Oh if I wasn't a vampire and could cook properly I could out shine even the famous Gordon Ramsey.
There was so much counter space that was a very fancy granite marble counter tops. There was also a set of double ovens in the wall as if the stove ovens weren't enough. Oh my inner baker is just itching to make things with just the sheer amount of firepower here. And lets not forget about the fridge, double doors with 2 drawers under the doors. I opened one of the doors and only half of it opened revealing a quick access to various drinks. I shut the door and figured out how to open it properly and the standard fridge stock was inside.
"If you are looking for blood, it's in the most bottom drawer." I heard from a voice that startled me. I pull my head out of the fridge to see Issac looking at me geeking out of their kitchen set up.
