The pain was blinding and the wolf wouldn't let go as if it was enjoying what he was doing to me. I reached out with my hands and tugged at whatever I managed to grab.
My fingers caught a hold of the edges of a fabric and assuming it was a curtain I yanked with all of my vampire strength. The rod holding up the curtain came crashing down on top of the wolf, making the creature loosen it's grip on my leg enough for me to pull away. I felt it's teeth still tear through my flesh as I pulled myself free.
I managed to stand and zip straight to the kitchen. I grabbed one of the large chef knives sat on the counter just in time as the wolf had charged downstairs after me. I readied myself for the right moment to fling the knife in my hand. The pain in my leg began to creep all over my body and I started to struggle to remain standing. The wolf had used this moment to make it's attack toward me and I braced myself with the knife pointed outward.
Everything rolled, twisted, and turned upside down again around me. It was almost like the night of my car accident when I was human. What was only moment felt like a hundred years was passing before me. The wolf had collided with the knife and as everything settled once more I found a now dead human in front of me. I pulled my hands back, still holding the knife and begun to repeatedly stabbing at the body making sure it had no way of coming back to attack me.
I pulled myself to my feet with the fridge doors and pried it open. I needed blood, a lot of blood for the injury I just sustained. I grabbed one of the containers it was stored in and started chugging it as fast as I could. My mind wasn't even paying attention to the off-putting taste it always had but after finishing one container I felt worse. I grabbed another and repeated the process of chugging it only to feel much more worse.
I heard a buzzing on the counter and turned around to see that Liam had left his phone out for me. I tried to shift toward the counter only for my left leg to refuse to even function. I felt weak, numb and, now after drinking all that blood, sick to my stomach. I even felt colder then usual, given the irony that as a vampire I have no body temperature of any kind.
I managed to get the two steps it took to take to get to the phone. My hands wrapped around it before the rest of my body refuse to want to function. I was shaking like whatever life force that kept me existing was leaving my body. I lifted the phone up to see what caused it to set it off.
He had a missed call from the name "Alexander" along with a voicemail.
"Oh please be someone who I could call back for help." I barely managed to whisper to myself as I played the voicemail.
"William, I know you are busy doing your wolf thing with the eclipse, but we need to talk about the girl. She's a Nossie, and with her being the last one it should be in your best interest for her safety to be here in the Orlando Tower. I don't know what Marcus wants with her but she's in danger with you. The Black Blood Pack has aligned with Marcus, please come to your senses before something terrible happens to the girl." The voicemail played out and I couldn't dial back this person faster.
"William?" A male's voice answered. "Hello? If you've stolen this phone, you will be found. No one but the owner should have this phone!" The male's voice exclaimed as I tried to find words for help but all I could do was make soft whimpers.
"Bit late..." I managed to blurt out. "For the terrible bit happening. S-so, wh-what's a Nossie?"
"Hello? Miss? Damn it, William and your protection runes. Send someone to Holdcraft estate to be there ready and waiting." I heard the man say while I drifted in and out of conciousness.
William POV
I never remember a lot during the eclipse but all I know is I felt Nadine's need for help. I couldn't help her until the eclipse was over regardless.
