Somewhere in New Orleans

A woman entered a medium sized bedroom holding a tray in her hands. A glass with a dark red liquid would be in it as she made her way across the room.

"Prince Jones?" She said softly gaining the attention of a man who was sitting on the bed with a laptop. The bright screen provided the only light in the room as the curtians were painted black and covered tightly with drapes.

"Set it here on the table next to the bed." The man said commandingly, not pulling his attention from the computer screen.

"How are things going back in your home?" The woman asked as she placed the glass on the table next to the bed.

"All residents are adviced to adhere to a curfew due to a sudden increase in violence in the Downtown Lakeland vacinity." The man read outloud as he tapped a single key and continued to scan the screen with his eyes.

"What about the young girl? I'm sure she misses you dearly." The woman said as she held the tray in her arms waiting for any further instructions.

"She'll be fine." He said coldly as if he wasn't concerned at the woman's comment.

Nadine's POV

The morning routine began once more as I was up out of bed with a small hop in my step. I was wearing just a night gown and bra as I came down the stairs with my phone already playing music. I went back into my own little world singing badly and cooking breakfast. It was nice to be back in a routine I was once used to, it made me feel reconnected with everything going on around me.

I heard the back door open, which meant Issac was back as I finished cooking and quickly stopped my singing.

"Morning." I said as I went to turn around to be staring face to face with Master Liam instead.

"So, how many Disney songs do you know?" He asked with a soft smirk appearing on his face.

I blinked at him with a confused and uneasy expression painted all over my face. Master Liam tilted his head toward the living room.

"Where else do you think I was sleeping?" He asked as I could tell he was holding back the urge to laugh at me.

OF COURSE! Where else would he sleep? I was sleeping in his room and even if Issac wasn't gone for the night, he would still need a place to sleep. Once again, I've managed to find more ways to further embarrass myself. I'm so glad Trent isn't around to see the awful embarrassing mess I keep making for myself.

"If you two keep staring at each other like that then at least kiss already." I heard from Charles who took in a deep breath after speaking. "Damn, how can a vampire cook so damn good?"

I turned back to finishing making a separate breakfast for Brent, placing his food on a tray for me to carry to his room.

"Charles do you always think about food?" I heard Issac say as I paused to not accidentally turn around. "Don't worry girlie, I made sure to put pants on this time." He said as I went back to my task.

I carried the tray and made my way up toward Brent's room. "Turn right at the stop of the stairs, second door on the left." Charles piped up with an annoyed tone. "Even with her breaking his heart he still cares for her." I overhead him say as I made my way up the stairs.

I reached Brent's room and knocked softly on it. I had made his usual breakfast that I used to make for him. I gave another knock expecting to be yelled at from the other side of the door.

"Step to the side." I could hear him say and I followed his directions realizing that his room might not have those fancy vampire windows.

The door opened and he yanked the tray out of my hands before slamming the door again. I knew that he wasn't going to stop being mad at me after just one night. I made my way downstairs as I started to overhear more people talking other then Issac, Charles and Master Liam.
