New Orleans

Elder Jones POV

"Elder Jones, you were one of the original vampires that locked Demarcus up the first time, correct?" An elderly lady that sat across from me at the dinning table we were at. There we several other witches gathered around me as well. We had be discussing the last several days on how to put the first vampire back in the prison he managed to escape from.

"Yes, along with Elder Hutchinson and Tusunde." I saw several witches gasp at the mention of Elder Tusunde. "I am not talking about that blood thirsty traitor who is ruining my city right now. His father, Alexander Tusunde, Damion and myself were the three Elders who helped the Kavanagh witches seal Lord Demarcus away." I was beginning to be come more annoyed at continuing my residence within the Boswell home. I've been here since the explosion at the The Chauveau. I knew Marcus was behind it after learning of his allegiance to Van Helsing I'm biding

"Elder Jones?" I looked up to see the elderly woman attempting to gain my attention again. "Miss Savannah here," The woman motioned to a much younger girl, perhaps 19 or 20 years old sitting to her left.",is visiting from Ireland to assist us with ensuring Lord Demarcus remains locked away."

"There is no ensuring anything, Lady Boswell. With the other two Elders dead, then the magic your clan placed on his prison is finally weak enough for him to be free. We'd need another source as you call it to put him back." I said bluntly. My patience was wearing thing and my temper was beginning to rise. Yet I felt an odd feeling which began to eat away at my attention.

"Elder Jones?" I heard from eldery woman once more.

"I don't believe it." I muttered outloud gaining confused stares from everyone gathered at the table. I looked around to see everyone staring at me. "She turned off her humanity."

I was both pleased and disappointed that Nadine managed to do such a thing but I knew the time was coming eventually. The girl was weak minded and could only handle so much emotionally. I should of told her she was a Nossie, might of made her understand her value better. I snapped my fingers as an idea popped into my head.

"Can you track down the remaining Nossies?" I asked Lady Boswell. "With as powerful as they are, and I know not all of them are dead. Demarcus order the other Elder vampires to kill their first turns but only two could fully commit to it. Marcus Tusunde, Alexander Saber and my newborn, Nadine Burns, they are all Nossies. There's more out there out of 16 Elder vampires, we have all created a Nossie."

"We'd only need about 6 willing to help us, but if we find all 14, plus yourself, that should be more then enough magic to place a seal on Demarcus' prison that if any of you should perish later on in your lifetime, that the magical seals wouldn't weaken." Spoke up from the young girl Samantha.

Lady Boswell placed a small box on the table and slid it into my direction. "Elder Jones, I know I've asked several times before, but now it is important that you block the link between you and your newborn. Whatever attacked her last week affected you greatly and you are to valuable to put in any sort of danger."

I reluctantly took the box, opening it up to reveal a silver bracelet. I left a similar one with Nadine when The Chauveau was blown up which she must of put on to be reminded of me. It worked in my favor because now everyone thinks I'm dead.

It took me a while to determine that it was Marcus who was behind everything since Nadine killed his sire and father during Delilah's proving ceremony for the Grand Council. I plan to snuff out Marcus' little army from the bottom up, many of the werewolves under his command did so on my order. The witches here placed small unseen runes on their loved ones, most of which are their mates, making it impossible for them to be near their mates without feeling pain.
