He sighed, picking Brin up and walking out of the dressing room.

First up they had Ellen.

Of course, she was nice to them and only asked some of the obvious questions, like what her name was and how old she was.

Thankfully, she didn't ask who the mother was. Even though if you looked at her closely, you could clearly see Taylor.

Now he was about to be on.... Wait a second, they were about to be on 'Shannon's', a popular new show that was known for containing all the latest celebrity drama.

Brin was in a nice yellow top and a jean skirt, with her hair in two pigtails.

He was wearing a white shirt with black pants, something Taylor used to always say complimented him very well.

He smiled at the thought of her.

But now was not for reminiscing about times with Taylor, it was for preparing himself.

"You okay?" Brin's small voice laughed. She was amused by how her father's hand shook violently.

"I'm fine, just nervous." He smiled, looking at her.

"You're on in a minute!" His manager yelled, rushing them towards the entrance to the stage.

Music started to play and he and Brin had made their way towards the two seats waiting for them.

Shannon was a 40 year old who was new to TV, with long chestnut hair and golden eyes.

"We're so happy to have you here! You're new album has really sky rocketed recently, so congratulations are in order." She says.

"Thank you." He said, looking over at the audience. There were probably over 400 people in here, this place was huge.

The whole audience cheered loudly after he had spoke for the first time.

"So as almost the whole world probably knows, you have a daughter." She said, laughing slightly. "Tell us about her, please."

"Her name is Brin. I don't know much about her myself, honest. I just recently met her."

"I see. So are you upset with Jake for telling us this?" She asked, obviously trying to create drama.

"Well, of course I'm a little frustrated. I'm disappointed he would spill my personal life like that when I treated him as my friend. But whatever. It was bound to happen at one point, I guess."

"What about you Brin? Do you like your new life?"

"New? It's the same life, just different people." Brin mumbled, feeling shy around all these people. She frustratingly sunk back into her chair.

"Smart input." Shannon grinned, looking at the audience. "She's adorable."

"Will mommy see this?" Brin asked.

"Probably, love." He answered, smiling at her.

"Speaking of mom, who is your mom, Brin?" Shannon questioned.

"We can't tell you that." He quickly cut in. "We want to give her privacy."

"Understandable, but don't you think it'll come out eventually anyways? Why not get it over with here, right now?" Shannon said, obviously getting annoyed by them not answering.

"Because we can do what we want." Brin said, glaring at Shannon.

"Excuse me! It is not your place to speak to me like that, brat." Shannon spit.

The audience began to gasp and boo.

"Don't talk to her like that." He defensively cut in, taking Brin's hand and standing up.

"You're right, I'm sorry. Please stay, I have more questions to...." She started.

"I think we've answered enough for today, thank you." He mumbled, waving to the audience before he and Brin exited the stage.

"Wait until my mommy sees this!" Brin giggled.
