Quick PSA, I'm sorry it's been so long, but I needed to take a break for awhile. However, since it's summer, I'll try to update more frequently.

Paparazzi lights overwhelmed me. Every flash reminding me of what it was like years ago when I was constantly being photographed. My every move being captured.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I glanced at him, who was running off. Of course I couldn't count on him to be here for me. I knew that. But I just thought, maybe, somewhere inside, he still had some human decency.

Just now, standing here in the middle of a road with screams erupting all around me, did I realize I was wrong.

Taylor took off speeding down the road, ignoring all of Selena's yells to slow down.

"What are you doing, Taylor? You're gonna get us both killed!" She exclaimed, looking at Taylor like she was insane.

Maybe she was. But only slightly.

"I need to find him." Taylor muttered, taking a speedy turn. "They got a picture of my plate number, Sel, what if they read into it and-"

"They're not that smart, T, they spend their lives taking pictures of Channing Tatum shirtless for a living."

"And they also spin stories to cause drama for publicity." Taylor sighed, pulling into a parking lot.

"Why are we here?" Selena looked out the window at the tall apartment building with a confused expression.

"It's Karlie's place. I need to talk to her." Taylor mumbled, a sad expression on her face.

Selena noted the weary look in her eyes but didn't want to push it. She was confused, but was willing to do almost anything for her best friend who she hasn't seen in so long.

Taylor hopped out of the car, Selena mimicking  her actions, and jogged inside.

"Hi, my name is Penelope Koleman. I'm here to see Karlie Kloss." Taylor said, using the fake identity she would go by back in England.

"I'll ring her up for you." The receptionist smiled, picking up the phone and saying a few things into it. "Alright, she's on floor 6."

"Thank you." She and Selena smiled at her, walking over to the elevator.

"I can't believe she didn't recognize you." Selena laughed. "Your wig is falling off."

She adjusted the wig accordingly, Taylor wrapping an arm around her.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I missed you. I just didn't want to get you involved in something like this. If it does all come out, it would be bad for you too." Taylor frowned, the elevator door opening.

"I get it. It's fine, Taylor, I'm just happy you're safe, okay?" Selena smiled, releasing herself from Taylor and pulling her out of the elevator which opened up to a large penthouse.

Karlie was standing by the stairs when she saw Taylor and Selena walk in, a little off put by seeing Taylor with somebody else.

Taylor stood there for a moment, her and Karlie staring at each other before Taylor started crying,

Selena immediately pulled her into a hug and Karlie raced down the steps, running over to them.

"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" Karlie asked, making Taylor face her.

"Nothing- it's just- what if they find me? They got a picture of my plate number. The same plate number that I was last seen in and- and if they think-" Taylor was cut off by Karlie, who joined the hug.

"Maybe it's time you stopped hiding, Taylor." Karlie said, pushing hair out of her face. "Your daughter, she's all over the news. Your whole point of disappearing was to keep her safe. Now that she's out there, well, I think it's time you are too."

"They're all gonna be mad. They're going to twist it and make it seem like I'm a villain or something." Taylor said, wiping her eyes as she stopped crying.

"But we know you're not. Brin knows you're not. It doesn't matter what they think, no matter how intimidating they can be, what matters is that you're happy and you're okay, and you can live your life again." Selena said, smiling at her.

"But what if I like hiding? I don't want to constantly be raking in money for people who make lame stories about me. I don't want to be photographed everywhere I go." Taylor said, pulling away from the both to face them.

"I know it's hard. You don't have to do anything you're not comfortable with." Karlie said, frowning.

"Thanks." Taylor smiled at her, sniffling. "I missed you."

"I missed you too. So I'm guessing you want to find him then, huh?" Karlie asked, putting her hand on Taylor's shoulder.

"Yeah- I- I need to see him. I'm getting my daughter back, I don't care about the stupid contract."
