Another nightmare.

No blood this time. No rain. No bodies. No men.

Maybe I could call this a dream?

I stood in the middle of a large dark room. The ceiling was so up high I couldn't even see it well, just darkness that faded into more darkness. A couple of blue lights began to illuminate the black room slowly, revealing more to my eyes. Blue fire torches were spread around the black walls of the wide circular room, giving it an eerie aura.

A black fireplace turned itself on at the head of the room, more blue fire cracking and sizzling as it devoured the black wood inside of it. Just in front of this fireplace were two large black chairs on top of a velvet red rug, or maybe they were thrones? They were dark as night, tall backs that reflected the blue fire around the room. I wanted to get closer to them, see what it looked like on the front, but I had no time as the doors behind me slammed opened against the walls, making the room tremble in response.

A male sprinted right through me and he sat at one of the thrones so fast I had no time to look at him. I whirled around just as a female spoke up, who stood at the entryway of the room.

"You can't do this! Was it all for nought, then? If so, why did you even take me back then!?" She cried out, her voice soft and musical, like the sound of birds, pained with betrayal.

She was extremely beautiful, a few inches shorter than me with long chestnut hair, braided with roses and white lace bands that fell down her back gracefully like a waterfall of chocolate. Two locks of hair framed her beautiful face, a small long nose, large green eyes framed with long black lashes, small pouty pink lips and skin a light shade of olive. She wore a long dark green gown with incarnate designs all over it that framed her slender curvy body perfectly.

"You know why I did what I did back then, Seph. This is... different. I don't know, alright? It's a weird feeling." The man responded from the large throne, his voice deep and manly.

"Different? Oh... oh, no. Don't tell me... Do you truly love her?" Seph asked, placing one slender hand over her mouth as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing.

The man didn't respond, and that was enough a response for the woman. She choked on a sob before she sprinted out of the room quickly, going somewhere to her right. I looked back at the throne and approached it very slowly, carefully as I noticed a black platform where both thrones were. I moved around until I stood just in front of the man. He didn't seem to notice me, though.

What kind of dream is this?

He had his head between his knees, his hands placed tightly against the back of his neck. His fingers seemed to be... black, a black paint that went up his arm until it faded near his elbows. He moved back against the throne, slumping down with closed eyes that he slowly opened and I froze in place, holding my breath.

Blood red eyes. As red as my own.

They glinted just like mine as well, large and narrowed, thick eyelashes framing them beautifully. His black brows were down in a scowl, his skin a healthy shade of olive, slightly darker due to the lights in this room, or lack of. His bangs fell across his face, down his long straight nose, the rest swept over the left side of his head, the other side neatly placed behind his ear. His hair dark as the room itself, was cut short just over his broad shoulders so it fell in silky waves around his neck.

He wore a sort of steel battle armor, black and shiny that reflected the blue colors of the room. Two golden pins sat on either side of his elbows, a long black cape falling down around him and down to the floor. His cape seemed to fade at the very end, like it was made of smoke.
