Rick and I didn't have a relationship like I wished. It wasn't monogamous, so he could run around with and 'get to know' as many people as he liked. I wanted him all to myself so badly, but Rick isn't that sort of guy. I settled for this instead, although I would be lying is I said I didn't feel some satisfaction at the fact that he comes back to me more often than not and he generally treats me better than most people he knows. To him, we were in a strictly physical relationship, but I'm not deaf, blind or stupid. I know he treats me differently, sometimes he's even sweet! Anyway, to put it simply and on the right track, we just had sex. "Y/N, come here." He says to me, proposing that we cuddle for a little while. Don't be fooled though, he isn't falling in love or any stupid shit like that. He told me hugs just give him a sort of comfort that he usually doesn't get. He knows that I'll never judge him or defy his emotional needs in any way, shape or form (thats why he told me that), so I assume he seeks comfort in me. But he wasn't getting that from this day forward. "Sorry Rick, but I'd rather stay where I am." I say. I wasn't going to do this to myself anymore, he either wants me as a real partner or not.

Rick's POV

"Sorry Rick, but I'd rather stay where I am." She says and I raise my eyebrow. I'll admit, her stubbornness threw me off a little. She usually loves cuddling after sex, so what was different this time around? Did I do or say something that offended her? Did I hurt her? Did I accidentally say someone else's name instead of hers...again? "Y/N?" I ask, growing increasingly concerned for her. "What is it Rick?" Her passive-aggressive tone echoed in my ears. Something was definitely wrong. "Hey, look at me." I say softly and she sighs before covering her turned away body with more blanket. "Y/N!" I bark, causing her to flinch and turn her head back to me slightly. "I'm sorry for yelling, but are you alright? You're not normally like this." I say and she sighs before lowering her eyes. "I....I love you." She says sadly and I smile. "I love you to-" "No!" She yells, cutting me off. "I love you. I want to be with you. No more Unity, no more hookers, just you and me. I don't wanna be just a sex doll for you to use! This is tearing me apart Rick! I can't kept doing this..." She ends softly with an averted gaze. "Y/N, I-" "Do you love me, Rick?" She asks. "Of course I do. I wouldn't be laying here if I didn't." I answer hoping to please her. "Do you love me the way I love you?" She asks and I answer with a yes of some sort. "No one else? No...no more Unity o...or hookers? Just us?" She asks and I chuckle before kiss he gently and shortly. "I only need you Y/N." I say and she gasps before gasping and hugging me tightly. "Thank you." She sob before kissing me.
