I sigh as I lean my head on my palms, staring out the window. "How much longer dad?" I ask my father, who I was moving with. "About 5 minutes Y/N." He says, keeping his eyes on the road. I yawn and hug my teddy bear for about the 50th time today. "Everything's gonna be different. New friends...new people..." I mumble to myself and before I knew it we stopped moving. "Here we are Y/N. Our new home." My father says proudly as we get out and begin unpacking. I was moving in the last box of mine, which were my electronics (computer, laptop, consoles, etc.) and I was having more than a little bit of trouble. I feel a tap on my shoulder, making stop my grunting. "U...uh...d...d..do you need any h...help?" I boy around my age asks. "Yeah, actually! Do you think you could carry this though? It's pretty heavy." I say an he smiles. "O...oh, I'll just g...g...get my grandpa to d...do i..it. Rick!" He tells across the street and soon the garage opened, showing a man about the height of my father. He had light blue spiky hair and was wearing what looked like a lab-coat. "W...w...what do you want Morty?" He yells back before 'Morty' explains. It took about 10 seconds for Rick to be finished what he was doing, which was creating...something?

"Here. Press that button and a modified Mr Meeseeks will appear. One should be able to do the j*burp*ob. Don't over do anything though, y...y...you know how everything ended up last t...time." Rick says, handing a dark blue box to Morty. "Gee, thanks Rick!" He says before Rick looks at me. "So...who's you're girlfriend here Morty?" He says and both Morty and I reply with: "WHAT?!" And a strong blush covering our faces. "Sh...she's not my g...g...girlfriend Rick! I just met her." Morty says angrily and I couldn't help but laugh at the two as they argued. "Wh...wh...wh...what's so funny?" Rick asks and I contain myself. "You guys are just funny to watch. I'm Y/N by the way." I say with a smile. "Y/N...tha...that's a pretty name..." Morty says before realising what he said and turning red. "I...I...I...I mean-" "Y/N! Do you need help with that last bo- Oh, you've met our neighbours." Dad says as he stands beside me. "Good to see you again (Dad's name)." Rick says and as they exchanged a handshake Morty and I just stared in shock. "You two know each other?!" I say in shock. "Well, yeah." My dad says and I sigh, pressing the button on the box Morty was holding. "I'm Mr Meeseeks, look at me!" Says a somewhat tall, skinny, blue...thing. "Mr Meeseeks, can you c...carry this box and follow us with it? W...We'll tell you when you...you're done." Morty says, pointing to the box. "Oooo, caaaaan do!" Mr Meeseeks says happily before picking up the box and following us to my room.

"Okay Mr Meeseeks, thank you. You're job is done now." I say with a smile and he explodes. "OH MY GOD!" I say in shock. "D...don't worry about it. I...I...It's pain for a Meeseeks to live more than a few hours." Morty says reassuringly. "I...I guess I have no choice but to trust you. It was just sudden, y'know?" I ask and he nod. "Yeah, a lot of Rick's stuff is sudden." He says and I giggle. "I'm sure it can't be that ba-" "He made me stick seeds up my butt to get past intergalactic customs." Morty cuts off and I stare at him wide-eyed. "Wait, really?" I ask and he nods. "I...I...It made me super smart for a while, but then I lost all my basic functions and muscle control." He says and I laugh. "You and him sure have a weird relationship." I say and he chuckles back. "Y...your telling me? Nothing is easy and simple with someone who creates portals and can travel through space." I giggle again. "How about we watch a movie or something while those two are talking? Knowing my dad it'll be dark outside before he finishes." I ask and he nods, picking one. "Ooo, I love this one!" I say happily before putting it it the DVD player and sitting next to my new friend.

A Few Months Later

"Come ooooon, Morty. Let's watch a movie!" I say as we sit in my room doing homework, that I didn't wanna do. "Fine, b...b...but we're getting back into this when th...the movies d...done." He says and I salute. "Yessir!" I joke before putting a movie in. "We watched this when we first met..." I say happily before sitting next to him and leaning my head on his shoulder. "Y...Yeah..." He says and I chuckle. "Come on Morty! We've known each other for a while now, stop being so shy." I say playfully before he scoffs. "I...I...I'm not shy." I laugh again and push him onto his back and begin tickling him. "Liars get punished, you know that." I say as he laughs and tries to push me off. "G...g...get off me!" He laughs as I tickle him more. "Nope, first you gotta tell me bow everything's going with that girl." I say with a smirk. "W...what?!" He says, finally pushing me off and catching his breath. "Yeah! How's it going? Talked to her yet?" I ask and he sighs. "U...uh, to be honest..I d...don't really like J...Jessica anymore." He says and I frown. "Why not? Did something happen? I swear to god if she hurt you-" "N...no, it's nothing l...like that. I just...I found someone else I liked." I gasp and pounce on him, hugging him tightly. "That's great! Who is it?" I ask eagerly, only to be rejected an answer.

"Pleeeeease?" I beg for the 50th time. "I..if I tell you...promise you won't f...freak out." He says and I smile and nods. "Of course not." I say before jumping in surprise as he grabbed my hands. "I....I like you Y/N..." He confesses and my heart began to race. He liked me back? "O...oh, I mean, haha, y...you should've seen your face." He says, trying to save himself. "Morty..." I say and he looks at me. It was my turn to grab his hands now. "We're you being serious?" I ask and he sighs. "W...Well, y...yeah. I always kinda did like you..." He says and I smile before hugging him. "You have no idea how hard it's been, seeing you talk about Jessica, but also still wanting to be there for you. I've waited so long to hear those words from you." I say with a smile before kissing his cheek and laying on his lap. "R...really?" He asks, making me giggle before I pull his face down and kiss him softly. We pull away after a quick first kiss and smile at each other, staring into the others eyes. "Really."
