Chapter 10
I woke up to see nobody else in the tour bus thingy. It looked like we were in a neighborhood. Some familiar neighborhood. I looked around but it seemed like everybody in the bus left me. I walked outside and saw somebody familiar. "Cora," A woman said as she walked over to the man. "Hi, sweetie!" This woman said as she walked over to her, "I've missed you!" She hugged me. I didn't hug back. "It's me," I stared at her face as she became very familiar. "Mom?" She nodded her head as she hugged me again this time I hugged her back. My dad came up and did the same. "How are you honey," I started to cry of happiness, "I thought you guys died," I looked at them.
The just held on to each other and didn't reply to me.
My mom and dad turned around, "Where are you guys going?" I whispered, they walked around the tour bus and I saw their car. "We're just gonna go to the hospital to check on you little sister," My dad pointed to my mom's stomach. I smiled and started to cry. "Goodbye Mom, Dad, Sister," I smiled and started to cry even more. They both started to drive. I waved goodbye. I walked inside to a house, my old house.
I was 8 years old. I heard a phone call coming from my home phone. "Your parents have died," I turned silent, "A drunk driver hit them both and killed them." I looked down. "How's my sister?" I said, "She has died inside your mother. I'm very sorry," I started to cry as I slammed the phone against the wall watching it shatter to pieces. I grabbed the beautiful glass vase on the table and threw it at the wall. I sat down and rolled up on the floor, beginning to cry. I felt somebody tiny holding me. I opened my eyes wider to see an empty tour bus except for me. Who was holding me?
"Hello?" I called out for the person who was with me. I sat down in the middle of the seats. I started to breathe heavily. "Hi," I heard a little girl say to me. I looked up, "I'm Skylynn Grier," she smiled. "Are you Nash's little sister?" She nodded her head. "Are you okay?" She asked me, I nodded my head. "Sky!" I heard somebody call out. She sat down next to me. "Isn't somebody calling for you," She shrugged her shoulders, "Yeah." She smiled. The person calling her found her sitting with me. Cameron. "What are you doing Sky?" He said smiling. "I was talking to her," She pointed towards me. He smiled and kneeled down in front of her, "You made her cry!" He said jokingly. She shook her head. "Go find Nash outside." He said smiling. He sat down next to me.
"So what's wrong?" He said not making eye contact with me. "Just a nightmare I guess." I didn't bother to make eye contact with him either. We were both just sitting on the floor of a bus. "Everybody had to use the bathroom so I was in charge of her. Nash's outside helping with gas so I didn't just let a little girl roam free at a gas station if that was what you were thinking." He smiled looking at me. I still just looked forward. "I wasn't thinking that." I said looking at him. We stared at each other. He put his hand on my cheek and wiped off a few tears. He pulled me in for a kiss. I backed away. I couldn't kiss him right now. I stood up. So did he. He looked shocked. I stood on my tippy toes and gave him a peck on the cheek. "How about friends right now." I turned away and sat back in my seat waiting for Shawn's comfort to be brought to me. This is like the fastest I have ever made friends in my life.
