Chapter 21
"I haven't been here in so long," I whispered to Matthew as we were leaving the bus. Matt looked at me and smiled, "It's a lot of fun here." With that he basically ran off the bus like a little kid. Shawn ran up next to me, "I'm gonna hang with Matt and Aaron so stay safe without your big bro," He said patting his chest and catching up to Matthew.
I got the park pass from the managers or something of Mahogany and the boys. I had talked to them like once after my big meltdown where I almost killed myself. They told me to try to be under the radar instead of causing a big scene like that.
I entered the park all by myself since the boys went somewhere. "Hey," said somebody behind me. I turned around to see Mahogany. "Hi," I haven't really formally met her. "Sorry I haven't really talked to you, i've got a lot stuff going on." I said to her, I sincerely was sorry, she seemed really nice and fun. "It's okay, I was just wondering if you know where everybody else went?" She said playing with her bright neon nails. "um," I looked around again, "No I haven't seen them," I said. "Oh..." She said acting really interested in her nails. "OH FUNNEL CAKE!" She screamed grabbing my arm and dragging me to the funnel cake stand. "I LOVE FUNNEL CAKE TOO!" I screamed. Dang she knows how to lighten the mood. "Two funnel cakes please."
We got our funnel cakes and sat at a table under an umbrella. "So, you and Cam? You guys a thing?" She said putting a piece of it on her fork. I looked at her. "I don't know." I said, were we a thing? "You guys seem cute together, I mean I saw you guys sucking each other's faces on the bus..." She said laughing. I rolled my eyes. I saw Carter, Nash, Hayes and Cameron walking around. "Mahogany don't," I saw her getting up on her chair, prepared to call them over, "too late," She smiled and screamed their names getting a few stares from a bunch of parents. Oh god.
Cam and the others walked over with pizza and other junk food. Cameron sat next to me and smiled, I couldn't hide it, he was so cute. I smiled back. "So are you and Cora dating?" Mahogany said laughing and eating her funnel cake. Hayes was just absorbed in his pizza and Carter and Nash turned their attention to us. "Hmmm?" Carter asked. I looked down embarrassed. "Yeah, I would be embarrassed to admit to dating Cameron to," Nash said laughing. I flung a piece a food at him. I turned to Cameron hoping he could answer the question, or perhaps... Ask the question?
