Chapter 8

I laid in my uncomfortable hospital bed staring at the glowing red numbers on the digital clock. It was 12:06 AM but I didn't want to go to sleep even though I was probably the most exhausted i've been in my entire life. I wanted to scream and jump out of the window at the same time. With that type of mindset I probably could stay awake for a whole month. I texted Cameron about 50 times, Matthew about 50 too. I felt bad for Matt he didn't know about Cameron's feelings, but then again, did I even know about his feelings?

I woke to the sound of rain pounding upon my clear hospital window. Surrounded by blank, walls, blank cabinets, blank furniture, blank, boring souls. I looked at that ugly red and black alarm clock as it read 5:00, so like 5 hours of sleep. Go me. I sat up, the pain in my body seemed to be fading. What was it, my second day in the hospital? And everybody hates me. God, I suck. I heard a knock at the door. GREAT MORE PEOPLE TO HATE ME. "Come in," I said trying to be polite. Some guy came in that I recognized from the people Matthew told me to follow on vine. "Ahh it's blue eyes, Nash right?" I said trying to have some humour and be nice at the same time. He smiled, "Yeah, I met you yesterday." Oh yeah when I hurt like hell. "So the other boys told me to come tell you that it was time for you to prepare to leave. We're leaving to the bus in a hour." He said. Where are all of these not-ugly boys coming from? "Thanks," I said smiling. He stood there in the doorway but turned around and sat on a chair next to me. "What happened yesterday between Matt and Cam?" He asked.

I told him the whole story and at the end he got all quiet. I looked at the ugly clock and saw that 40 minutes passed. I sat up, "can you get my clothes for me," I pointed to my suitcase that Cameron I think brought from his apartment. He dragged it to me and threw it on the bed. "Thanks," I smiled and he did the same. I remembered my bandages. "Uh, Nash," He turned around, "Can you help me take off my bandages," It hurt me to f*cking lean over and grab a remote how was I supposed to take off my bandages. I lifted up my shirt as I felt a light pain, "Imagine if Cam came in right now," He started to laugh. I flicked his head. "Goddamn you are abusive." I laughed. he started to unwrap them. I was supposed to put on a new sheet, so he would have to help me with that too. "You look like you are going to throw up, butthole." He looked so focused. "SHHHH!" He said loudly as he was almost done unwrapping it. "You're supposed to put on a new bandage too dumbass." He sighed as he grabbed a bandage from the drawer.

I sat next to Nash on the packed bus holding like 3,000 people, k bit of an exaggeration maybe like 30 people. In front was Me, Nash and his little brother I remember from meeting when I was introduced to him by Cameron. Behind me was these two really noisy guys, one was blonde and one had a really nice jawline. Then behind them was Matt staring outside in his own world. All my fault. "Who are they," I said nodding my head backwards to indicate the two boys behind me. "Oh, Jack and Jack." He smiled, "Oh thats pretty easy to remember." Nash turned around, "JACK!" Both of them turned, "this here is Cora," Nash said pointing to me. I looked at Hayes looking embarrassed, "You gotta get used to it I guess," He shrugged. The Jack with the darker hair stood up, "Hi, i'm Jack," I smiled. "And i'm also Jack," They both smiled and sat down and just started talking and laughing at eachother again.
