You stay kind, committed to love, and
Free in your authenticity.
No matter what they do or say don't you dare
Doubt your worth or the beauty
Of your truth.
Just keep on shining like you do.

"There...there! Behind you!" Logan exclaimed pointing at the screen as someone appears behind my player.

"Aw dawn it." I said as the game mentions that my player just died.

After school, Logan and I decided to go to his house and chill. And when I say chill, I mean throwing ourselves on the couch and playing call of duty: black ops. And yes I just lost.

"Spawn trappers like to hunt you and your teammates, so be sure to check everywhere to make sure there aren't any enemies." He said while getting up.

"Yeah, noted for next time." I said.

"Can I get you anything?" He asked, heading towards the kitchen.

"Just water please." I said as I got up and made my way to the backyard.

The clouds are darkening, and the breeze makes goosebumps on my skin but the fresh air and the beautiful view made me stay outside.

"There you are." Logan said, handing me a bottle of water and sitting beside me. He notices the goosebumps on my arm and trails back to my eyes. "You're cold." He said and he took off his jacket and put it over my shoulders.

"Thanks." I said as he gave me a smile.

"So how is it possible that you are the football team's captain and people aren't intimidated by you? I mean, you are basically one of the 'cool kids'. " I said and he simply laughed.

"What? You were expecting all football team's captain to be mean and untouchable? I am so not like that. I swear I would hang out and become best friends with the nerdiest nerd in the school."

"Wow, you are something else."

"Yeah." He said, looking into the sky.

"Well there's still that bad boy blood in you. After all, you made me bunk today." I said as he laughed and looked at me.

"Okay, I'm sorry that I dragged you along with me. Happy?"

"Hm. Maybe. But you didn't tell me why you wanted to bunk though." Logan leaned back on the bench and looked away from me with this blank expression on his face.

"I don't wanna talk about it."

Right. Why did I even ask.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. As I take it out I find that mom is calling me.

"Hi mom."

"–Rouge, would you come home now." She said.

"Okay I'll be right there."

She drops the call and I tell Logan that I need to leave.

"I'll walk you." He said.
