Prologue
So here I am. New school again, I don't know what possessed me to start living with mom, I mean it's a completely different state! I guess to me it seems like another country, another world even. But I'm here none the less in Michigan... With my mom... Great.
My name is Catherine and I've lived in Minnesota with my dad for the past six years, mom left for Michigan when I was ten, I think anyway. Things were always great with my dad things still are ok I guess... But he got a new girlfriend and we don't get along well, besides my family wants me to bond with my mother or whatever...
So I am. This is it. This is what I'm doing... As we pull into the driveway I see Chris, my moms boyfriend... The one she left me for, holding my half sister Danielle, both are waving manically, oh god what have I gotten myself into...
